2013 Toyota Corolla - Great, reliable car
The Corolla is only the fourth car I've owned. I chose it because of Toyota's stellar reputation for quality and longevity. I've also since learned that service is above par as well.
Story
I drove it to my wedding.
Pros
I love the way it looks, the way it drives, and the safety features it has. I really like the sound system and the controls on the steering wheel, as well as the Bluetooth capability. I also love the moon roof, and the easy-to-clean interior. The gas mileage is pretty much spot-on with what was advertised, and I have had no mechanical troubles with it. Cargo space is good...I can easily fold down seats, etc., To make room for larger items I'm hauling.
Cons
I wish it had a rear-window wiper...I miss having that, because I have to wait for the condensation to drip off in the mornings using the defroster. I really hate that it takes synthetic oil only; oil changes are $80 a pop.
2005 Toyota Corolla - Toyota Corolla vehicles are one of the best.
I purchased this Corolla because I owned a Corolla previous to this one. I was very satisfied with the performance of this vehicle. This vehicle is very reliable. I drive 100 miles per day and I have yet to have any problems on the road. The interior has held up very well. The electronics system is still in full operation.
Story
My child showed his friends how you could lock yourself in the trunk but still could get out by using the lid release latch inside the trunk. Several of them tried it. I was present at all times.
Pros
One of the pros of this vehicle is how it has held up. All of the doors, locks, radio, inside lights are all still operational. The laydown back seat for extra storage through the trunk has been very handy. I have used this feature many times.
Cons
My vehicle was all manual--door locks, windows, etc.
