I've driven my Toyota for over five years now, and I love it! It has been a great, dependable car. I would highly recommend the brand to my family and friends.
Story
The car handled amazingly well in a sudden snow fall one year! Especially compared to other similarly sized cars on the road.
Pros
There are a lot of pros about this car, honestly. It gets very good gas mileage. I love its small size (I suppose some people may find this a con) as it makes parking a breeze! The trunk is spacious, as are the seating areas. It has been a reliable car the entire time I've driven it. Maintenance costs are relatively affordable (certainly less than some other brands). Additionally, I feel that, for a sedan, it handles very will in bad weather.
Cons
I do wish the car had some of the 'newer' features that are more common nowadays. For instance, it would be great to have a back-up cam! One negative incident that happened with the car was that there was a problem with the power in the locking mechanisms on the driver side doors. I took it to the shop, and it turned out that this was covered under warranty, so I did not have to pay anything to get it fixed. However, it was a hassle.

I have owned my 2001 Toyota for 3 years now. The car has been in my family for about 7 years. I purchased the car from my father and have had good run with it so far. It is a 5 speed manual transmission with a 2.2L engine. The car being almost an antique at this point has about 185,000 miles on it. I have had to spend more money to fix the car then I would have liked, but it's to be expected with an older vehicle.
Story
When I bought the car I put some work into it to get it on the road. My investments have paid off and I enjoy driving the car as my daily driver.
Pros
I enjoy driving the car, the handling, and the manual transmission. The car is easy to fix for basic repairs and maintenance as well as parts are very easy to find.
Cons
I recently had to install two new catalytic converters, a job that without the right tools I had to take to the shop which cost me quite a but of money. Parts cost almost as much as the car was worth. The car now being fixed should hopefully last me a few more years.
