2002 Toyota Camry - Great, reliable car
I LOVE this car. I have had it for 2 years after purchasing it from my mom's boss who was the only other owner of the car, I am sure he had taken great care of it, but even with 250,000+ miles it only requires occasional maintenance and is a great car for my daily commute to work and school. I find this car truly reliable, I know I will never be late to classes or to my job when I have this car because the check engine light comes on before something goes wrong, and when the car does occasionally need maintenance it is always an inexpensive and easy fix. The only problem I have had is the trim on the window started bending off but that was easily fixed by inserting a screw, you barely even notice it and compared to the car troubles my friends have with their cars it is such a minor fla... Story
I am in marching band at the university of Connecticut and have used my vehicle many times for transporting band kids and their instruments to/from rehearsal. Many memories have been made in my car during those times.
Pros
Some of my favorite features on this car include the fact that there is a very spacious trunk, I do marching band in college and we are able to squeeze 5 large instrument cases in the trunk after rehearsal, as well as comfortably seat 3 people in the back seat, the driver, and the passenger. It is a great car for transporting people in, and has definitely made me a lot of friends since I can give them rides and fit all of their stuff. Cons
The car is only two wheel drive which makes it hard to get out of snow and ice in the winter, but that is to be expected and not so much the cars problem as it is the fact that my apartment complex does a horrible job plowing. You really shouldn't expect excellent performance in the snow from a small, two wheel drive car anyways. Having snow tires on my vehicle did help a lot with traction and of course once the car was dug out of the ice and snow I had no problem driving it as long as the snow was not compounded around the tires. 2009 Toyota Camry - Great family car
I came upon my current vehicle after my older one was totaled, so we were in a rush to find a new car. I was disappointed that I did not have more time to look. But, I have since gotten over that. The car has given no more than normal hassles (o2 sensor, but it has over 100k miles on it). There is plenty of room in the back seat, and the trunk fits a full-size stroller, along with all of our groceries. The car is well made, not like the plastic junkers that come along now. The value also holds strong.
Story
I learned how to drift in the snow in this car. I had to leave a hospital parking lot in the middle of a snow storm. I had to go around a sharp corner and around a snow bank. I was sure that I was going to end up in a ditch. This car had just enough weight to get me successfully around the corner and was in full control.
Pros
The top pro that I have is that it is a safe and dependable car. The only repair work I have had to have done on it in the past two and a half years is the o2 sensor. This is a problem that I have had with all of my cars. My last car it was only 50k miles though, and this car has over 130k. The second thing I like the most about it is that it is spacious. We can fit a rear-facing car seat easily in the back seat with tall people sitting in the front. Given that the laws and safety recommendations are rear facing until a minimum of two this is vital. Cons
The biggest con I would have is that this car has a huge blind spot. There have been multiple times that I couldn't even see Suburbans on my side.

2005 Toyota Matrix - Carmax East Haven
They gave me a great deal on the car, were knowledgeable and friendly and walked me through the entire buying process. Even though the dealership was in Connecticut and I lived in New York they worked with me on the taxes and all the paperwork. They did an excellent job of giving me history and accident reports on the car, as well as giving me a free scheduled maintenance coupon!
2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser - Toyota Of Wallingford
They made me feel very comfortable when I picked out my vehicle, and also on the day I picked it up. Very accommodating when I asked for the roof rack to be added, and they did a nice job.
