2004 Nissan Altima - Grateful but a headache
I bought a black Nissan Altima while in college. I loved the car because it was newer than my previous car, but because of the high mileage when I bought it and other things constantly going or ceasing to work, it was definitely a headache. I liked that the car was newer and that it was black. I hated that the car didn't have leather interior. Within the first month of me purchasing the car, a hole was poked in my backseat with a pen by a child. It ran well periodically, but I would also encounter an issue.
Story
The first time I drove to New York was in this car. We wanted to go out to Manhattan for my birthday, and I offered to drive. Unfortunately, we spent most of the time stuck in traffic and looking for a parking space, but it was definitely a memory, and my friends made a long ride enjoyable.
Pros
My most favorite features were the color, size, and the sound system that I had installed.
Cons
My least favorite features were the cloth seats, the light color of the cloth seats and leaks from under the hood and the fact that I constantly putting engine oil under the hood because of the leak.
2011 Nissan Altima - Stylish and reliable.
My 2011 Nissan Altima Coupe is the best car I've ever owned. I love the way it looks and have received many compliments on it. It has been reliable for me and has only needed minor repairs in the roughly 50k miles I've driven it. The only things I don't like about the car are the CVT transmission and the headlights. It has adequate power for merging and passing on the highway and gets good gas mileage.
Story
One memorable story is last winter when I got stuck in the snow on a huge hill in Vermont. I am an avid snowboarder, and this is the only time I've ever had a problem in the snow since I purchased the car. This is saying a lot for a non-AWD car.
Pros
The top positive things about this vehicle are the styling, reliability and handling.
Cons
The only negative things about this vehicle are the CVT transmission and the headlights. The CVT isn't as responsive as I'd like it to be and the headlights have moisture build up inside them.
