This is a wonderful car. I have had it for over twelve years now, and it has never given me any trouble. It is reliable, and it gets good gas mileage, about 45 MPG on highway and 35 in town. I love this car and hope to keep it another twelve years because it really is a great car. It is manual transmission, and I really like that because I love the ease of shifting the gears. The car I had previously did not shift quite as well. It also has roll down windows with a crank, but I don't mind that because you can roll the windows down even when the motor is turned off. This car is easy to fit into the tight parkings that are in most parking lots these days. You can practically turn it completely around in the middle of the street without having to back up. There is not much I dislike about... (more)
Story
This cars is excellent for road trips. It is very comfortable sitting in this car for long periods of time. I remember one time taking a 450-mile drive into the countryside down south to Little Rock. Arkansas. It was a very scenic drive with winding country roads. It was in October, and there were many different colored leaves. I had not initially planned to go that far, but I just wanted to ... Pros
It is very easy to drive and navigate into small spaces. It is good on gas mileage. It feels spacious for a small car. It is manual transmission which makes it get better gas mileage. It sits low, so it makes it easier to turn corners as opposed to taller vehicles. I am 5' 4", so this car fits me well. Crank windows are a plus when the motor is turned off because you can still use them. Also, since they are not powered, it is one less thing you will have to repair. You can also keep these cars even when they have over 200,000 miles on them.
Cons
Not too many cons to me, but main one is that you cannot see what is going on in traffic in front of you when you sit behind taller vehicles. You cannot haul extremely large or long items. They won't fit in the trunk, even when the back seats are pulled down. You cannot seat more than five. People over six feet tall might feel cramped in this car. Crank windows may be a negative to some people who like push buttons better than manual handles. Manual transmission might be a con; some people don't like them.

I enjoy my 2009 Toyota Corolla. I bought it roughly around 2009 as a used vehicle with low miles. Since then, it is close to reaching 300,000 miles, in which I am responsible for the larger share of that amount. I have drove it across country, on 800+ mile road trips going one way. Other than having routine maintenance done, and replacing or repairing natural wear and tear items, I have very few recollections, if any, of having to get major repairs done. My Corolla has truly lasted a long time, and I trust the quality of it to continue to last me even longer. If I ever decide to get another vehicle, it more than likely will be a Toyota.
Story
I have taken several trips, but nothing exciting to tell about it other than what I already have. My car has been from Missouri driving around the east coast states, and it has been out west to Colorado and back. The most amazing thing I thought related to the car is that only had to fill up once during round trip from Missouri to Pennsylvania.
Pros
Although this may be true or standard of most newer modeled cars, from at least 2009 and on up, I appreciate having a maintenance warning light or check engine light. This bell and/or whistle allows me to stay updated on my routine oil changes. I am not particularly one with a strong habit of checking my oil. it never fails this warning light aligns with the recommended date or miles for my next oil change. Other factors I like, in which may be well popular, is the fuel economy. I never spent more than $20 to fill up from E to full. If I have, it was during the time the price range of gas ... (more)
Cons
If I have to have a negative, it would be the material of the body. It can get easily get damaged when it comes to dents and dings. However, this factor may be true of all or most newer cars. It is also not the best on room space for the legs. It is not the worse either, but it could be better. The front seats can adjust, but the further they are adjusted back, the less leg room for rear seat passengers.
