2015 Toyota Prius c - Works great.
I enjoy My Prius C. It was available at a discount when the next year came out. I have taken it on two cross country road trips and it has performed well for me. But it really shines when driving it in the city. That is where it gets really good gas mileage. I can reliably get 40 mpg in the city, and 50 or even more if I am being conservative in my driving style. It has a fair amount of size inside when compared to my wife's Honda Civic. It does well on both the highway and in the city, as long as you do not have to accelerate too quickly.
Story
I really enjoy decorating it with my New Orleans Saints magnets. The car is black, and it looks great covered with gold fleur-de-lis!
Pros
The trim level 3 that I got included Sirius/XM radio and built-in GPS maps, both which I like very much. I also like the automatic unlock when I grab the door handle.
Cons
The key fob configuration makes it impossible for me to install auto-start, which is something I would really like to have. Another issue I have with it is that the blind spots are really big, and make it difficult to see if anyone is coming up beside you. The last drawback I have experienced is that the car does not have a lot of pickup, say when compared to a Camry.
2015 Toyota Prius c - Great little car. Very efficient.
I have had this car for three years now, and I really enjoy it. I mostly drive in the city, and it definitely shines there as the gas mileage is phenomenal. It does fairly well on the highway too, allowing me to take some fairly inexpensive road trips across country. I like the hatchback and fold down back seats, which give me more capacity to carry that I would have expected. One downside is that it is a little under-powered, which you have to account for when pulling into traffic or taking a steep hill. Also, I probably should have gone for trim level 4, which includes the backup camera, since the visibility behind the driver is somewhat obstructed. Otherwise, I think this car is fantastic.
Story
My brother and I filled the hatchback with guitars, and amps and musical equipment and drove to Texas to visit our old band mate. I was really pleased that we did not have to leave any equipment because we were able to fit everything we needed in the hatchback with the back seats folded down.
Pros
Fuel efficiency, quiet, more spacious than expected, reliable
Cons
Underpowered, poor rear-view visibility
