The future: available now. At least, that's what the advertisements say about the 2017 Toyota Mirai, a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle that, in many ways, drives like an EV, refuels as quickly as a regular old gasoline car and emits nothing but water. It also looks futuristic, if a bit garish, and comes packed with the latest infotainment gadgets and safety gizmos
Story
Southern California and the Bay Area. Another issue is hydrogen itself, which must be extracted from water or natural gas. That takes a lot of energy. So essentially, you're using electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen, then using that same hydrogen to create electricity again. Just putting electricity into an EV's battery pack is far more efficient, but from a convenience perspec... (more)
Pros
Emits nothing but water, quick and effortless acceleration, that feeling you're driving in the future.
Cons
According to Toyota, the Mirai can travel an estimated 312 miles on a tank of hydrogen and then gets the equivalent of 67 miles per gallon. It's also worth noting that you get three years' worth of free hydrogen, of course, you'll need to live in California, and likely near one of the few hundred hydrogen stations in Southern California and the Bay Area.

I like the gas efficient, and I don't like the light weight of the car. I will explain the pros and cons of the car in paragraphs below.
Story
I took the car for a road trip to L.A., and it was amazing. The car ran smooth, and I saved a lot on gas. If I were to take a different car to L.A., I would pay 3 times more for gas.
Pros
The pros are gas efficient and reliable. The car has great gas mileage. It runs average 400 miles per full tanks. I love this the most about the car. It is reliable; I can't remember a time when I couldn't depend on it. I have had it for three years, and no problem at all.
Cons
The cons are small, light weight, and cheap interior. I love this car for its price, gas efficiency and reliable. Other than those, the car is a cheap design. My model misses a lot of things which modern car has such as auxiliary audio output, navigation, automated memory car seat. The car is small, and it seems very light. Maybe because the car is a hybrid car. They need to design it lighter than normal cars to have save on gas. Every time the weather is windy, I can feel the car getting pushed off course, which is very scary.

They were very friendly and down to earth without being fake. They made it seem like they were more about finding the right car, not just selling me a car. There was very little pressure.

When I drove up to the dealership, I was greeted almost instantly. I was offered help and was told that they would be right by my side if needed. So right away, there was no pressure, which I got this vibe from other dealers. I had asked to browse for cars alone and later on, asked for a test drive. I decided to test drive 3 different cars and this was no issue!
