2012 Toyota Prius - Geeky and hip
When I got this car, the Prius was just coming into the limelight. The first generation had its followers, but this design was known throughout the country. You can see how South Park poked fun at it by saying everyone who owned a this model/design Prius was a stuck up hippy from San Francisco. Well, I was one of those persons, maybe a little less stuck-up, but I did like having a symbol that was associated with being eco-friendly.
Story
Driving in SF everyone thinks you are an Uber driver. So one time we rolled up to a club, and there were like three people fighting to get in the car. Little did they know it was just a personal car.
Pros
I saved so much damn money on my gas bill. Getting 40 plus mpg was heaven-sent after owning a SUV. My favorite thing about my Prius, though, was the sunroof that came with it. They don't come standard, but somehow I lucked out and got one. And this doesn't just work in the day, it doubles as a moon roof in the night for those special dates.
Cons
The main con was that it didn't feel like any of the more powerful engines that I learned how to drive on. The initial acceleration felt weak when I first got in, and there was no option to drive manual, which is just so fun when you aren't stuck in traffic. Another thing was when you reversed, there would be the warning noise. Oh, and the warning noise when the passenger didn't have on their seat belt. Which was more of an annoyance than anything, and ultimately, it would get me to wear my seat belt if someone else was driving.
2008 Toyota Prius - Great, reliable, and smooth car.
The gas mileage on the Prius is great. It runs smoothly and quietly, and the acceleration is very responsive. Despite being compact there is a lot of space inside for passengers and cargo. The climate control buttons on the steering wheel are very convenient and work great. Definitely an upgrade from the '98 Rav4 I had previously.
Story
For last New Year's, I drove the car a few hours to the desert and had a great time. Ran great. I was happy about the gas mileage and was able to listen to a lot of new music.
Pros
Definitely the gas mileage is a pro of this car. The gear shifter is nice and compact and unlike the center console one of other cars. It is very responsive and convenient, and one is able to shift gears without even looking. I definitely feel great about using less gas which is good for the environment. Great car for commuting and touring.
Cons
Sometimes the car runs way too quiet and people/pedestrians cannot hear you approaching, which can be dangerous. While in reverse gear, sometimes the beeping alert can get annoying, and I haven't figured out how to turn it off, and one might not be able to. The exterior and body of the car isn't the most nice looking I've ever seen. Also, the stock stereo doesn't come with an auxiliary input or Bluetooth to connect your own music, so I had to pay more money to install an aftermarket one.

What made the dealership so great was that they had a big Toyota sign right there located off of the 5 freeway, and it is located by the famous mile of cars.
