It's been a really reliable, well-sized vehicle for our large family.
We bought our Toyota Sienna after our 6th baby was born and we needed a vehicle that would fit all 8 of us comfortably, while not being too huge to drive around the city, and having decent gas mileage. We found all of these things in our Sienna. The first thing I noticed about the van was all the storage built in; the styling here was brilliant, with little nooks everywhere for storing all sorts of things; plenty of cup holders meant that each of us could bring a drink on the road, while storage pockets and compartments would hold all the maps, spare change, and family necessities we could ever ask for. It's been great. We've never once had any automotive problems with the Sienna, despite driving it for 3 years all over the country loaded down with 6 growing kids and all of their junk. It has performed better than our expectations in almost every area, including gas mileage, which has stayed steady around 23 miles per gallon on the highway. About the only complaint I've had with the van is the way it handles in snow and icy conditions. Because it is lighter-weight than some minivans, it handles pretty poorly and skids and slides a lot when icy conditions are present.
