We were looking to replace our 2002 Subaru Forester, as we had a second child on the way. While we really liked our Forester, due to the age and changing standards, it was going to be difficult to add a carseat for a second child. We were also cramped for space when traveling so we began looking at the next-size up in terms of SUVs, but none of them seemed to be working for us. At that point we began considering something a little more tailored towards long trips and two or more children, so we began considering the larger SUVs as well as minivans. The larger SUVs had too many drawbacks (gas mileage, awkward use of space, etc.), and so it came down to minivans. We looked at offerings from Toyota, Honda, and Chrysler. We quickly eliminated the Chrysler Town & Country due to price ... (more)
Story
We were able to move the contents of a 10 foot x 10 foot storage unit to another storage unit across town, in a day. We did not have to rent a UHaul or other such truck. We were really surprised by how much it was capable of carrying.
Pros
We liked the rear/third-row seating, as it felt comfortable for adults. We liked the "captain's chair" seating in the second row, as it made it easy for us to adjust the seats individually for the children since they were different ages and had different requirements. We liked that the second/middle-row seating could hold three, but that the middle seat could be removed and stowed away out-of-sight in the back. With the third-row seating folded into the floor, the rear was extremely roomy, and helped us with a move, as well as long trips. We have comfortably seated two adults in the front,... (more)
Cons
Mainly gas mileage, and ground clearance, but neither of those things is addressed well by the other competitors in the class.

Visually compared to other minivans, this one can't be beat. It has softer curves in the body style, not harsh, bulky and dated like some of the others on the market. There is so much cargo space, with the ability to lay the seats down in the back for added space when needed- perfect for a family. The bucket seats in the middle row are perfect for our two kids- comfortable, with space between so no fighting for space or territory.
Story
In going to get my daughter from preschool, there came a full on deluge of rain. Pouring down. I was able to open the door of our van with a single button, pop her in, and jump in my seat. Given that the van is so spacious, I was able to move my seat back, turn around and buckle her in her car seat without standing out in the rain getting more and more drenched. So helpful! Could never have ha... (more)
Pros
The space is the first obvious positive for our family. We travel far for holidays when visiting family, so it's nice to have all of that extra space. Our minivan also has a ridiculously large amount of storage space and cup holders everywhere! So easy to organize and have all that we may need in the car for a family (wipes, trash bags, changes of clothes, snack cups, etc.). Automatic back passenger doors are also awesome for loading kids quickly in the car.
Cons
The main negative that stands out to me about our van that I was not expecting is how low to the ground it is. We frequently misjudge the angles when pulling out from sloped drives, dips, speedbumps, etc., and find that we are constantly scraping the front undercarriage. So annoying! My other personal negative about it is the backup cam. I find that I don't ever use it. Newer models are so much more helpful with their guides, beeping, etc., giving you a better sense of where you're actually at. Given that we own a 2012, the back-up cam is not so advanced as the new ones, but old school met... (more)

They worked with me when other dealerships did not. Also, they have been wonderful every time I have taken my car in for routine maintenance.
