My Toyota Tacoma has lived up to all my expectations. The truck is very well made, and everything from fit and finish to how it operates on the road gives my a feeling of high quality. I particularly appreciate how dependable it is. I have used my truck as my main vehicle for five years and put 70,000 miles on it. The truck gives me decent gas mileage, it has a very functional cab and enough hauling capacity for my needs. I do wish the cab was a little less noisy, and I have experienced a problem with the floor mats not staying put when I drive. Another issue I have experienced so far is a malfunctioning blower motor for the cab. This did become a great annoyance since it resulted in me not having heat or air conditioning in the truck until the problem was fixed. After a couple of yea... (more)
Story
Driving from the Central Coast in California to Seattle, Washington and back non-stop. I wasn't used to driving in the snow, and when I got to Seattle, it was snowing non-stop. I could hardly even see the road, and I quickly found out that driving a small pickup truck on ice and snow could be a little bit scary and very slippery.
Pros
The overall quality and how dependable the truck is. Economical to drive for a truck, and it retains its value over time very well.
Cons
Malfunctioning blower motor and the key no longer unlocks the passenger side door. The floor mats have a way of moving around under my feet when I drive.

I like the fact that it has over 150,000 miles on it and it still drives beautifully. I like that we have owned it for 3 years and have hardly had to put any money into it. It has a lot of get up and go but isn't a gas guzzler. It has a supercharger on it so I don't like the fact we have to put in the most expensive premium gas into it but it helps that the gas mileage is decent. I like that you get the benefits of a truck but it isn't huge and hard to drive or control.
Story
We got stuck in the mountains on ice and had to have my father in law come and put cement blocks in the bed of the truck in order for us to be able to drive out!
Pros
Fuel economy for a truck is decent, easy to drive, supercharged so the get up and go is quick, sunroof, leather seats are great with kids who spill, not oversized where it can't fit in most parking spots. The stern system in it is nice and the person who had it before us also did a custom paint job and pin striping which we like.
Cons
The only thing I would change is the cabin space. It at times feels like you are riding in a tin can. I feel like my head can hit the top of the cabin and fear what would happen to me in a roll over accident. An issue with quality for me is that the doors feel a little cheap and flimsy, when you are opening and shutting the doors it does not feel as sturdy as other larger trucks. There is power steering however it is somewhat still hard to steer.

I enjoyed this dealership because the dealers were not sleazy. They did not jump right on me as soon as I walked in with a hundred questions. Instead they let me peruse the cars, approached and politely offered to help and left me alone when I told them I'd like to look around. When I did need help there was someone close by. I also like that the prices are set and non-negotiable so that you know exactly what you're getting into as soon as you decide on a car you like.

They didn't treat us like we didn't have any money. Unlike our real local dealership, this one didn't start out by assuming our income level. They were there for us through out the buying process and even called to check up to make sure everything was alright. They also gave us extra accessory that was not tacked on to the final price. All the people involved with out purchase was also very helpful.
