I bought the vehicle used and it had a ton of issues. The electrical was a nightmare and half the interior lights didn't work, the car stalled when it rained and it was not great in snow. The car shape and style appealed to me.

The GLI is fun but expensive to fix.
I bought a 2013 VW Jetta GLI in the summer of 2015. I didn't realize at the time that it would be pretty addicting to drive. It's not the fastest (by far), and it's not the roomiest, but it just goes—especially on back roads.

Found a great used car here with very few miles on it. Salesman was very helpful and let me take it on a long test drive. Had good experiences with them any time I have gone in for maintenance work, although I don't come by often because it is a bit of a drive for me to get there. Would definitely visit again whenever I might need another car.
