This vehicle has great acceleration, smooth turns, drives well in snow. It has resilience and durability and a decent mileage. The inside was comfortable and the built in speakers have a great bass. One downside which is common to all Volkswagens is that when repairs are needed, many of the parts are more custom made to the brand. New parts can be difficult to find without paying and arm and a leg to get them straight from the dealer. Despite this the car does last quite a long time but once many repairs are needed this vehicle will become quite expensive to maintain and you will he left with very little resale value and the end of its life. This may be witty of because the car should last a good 15 years. It is a very enjoyable car and I recommend it. German cars are awesome.

I just hit 197k miles in this station wagon--I have put 120k on it since I bought it 12 years ago. I love it. It has so many small thoughtful features that I didn't know I wanted but will miss when I have to move on to another vehicle (though I intend to drive this one as long as I possibly can). The fuel economy is excellent, and it is well laid out. The styling is beautiful inside and out, it is comfortable and intuitive to drive, handles well in all conditions, and it is quiet and smooth. The interior has held up beautifully to a lot of abuse, and all of the little gadgets continue to function. I am of average height for a woman, and I can actually sleep comfortably in the cargo bay, using the tonnoeau for privacy--I have had many excellent naps in the back of my car this way. The exterior has also held up well, for the most part (windshield is a little hazy now and there are some paint chips here and there), and components have lasted a respectable amount of time--to date, I have not had to replace anything too quickly. I have owned four cars in my life, and this one is by far my favorite. I will be sad when I have to get a new one.
