Well, they suckered me in with their ads that appeal to young people and college students. The VW Passat is packed with features but it is also packed with problems. Everything broke on this car - the air bag sensor, all 4 window regulars ($600 repair each time), the rear view mirror fell off, the radiator broke at only 80k miles. I really regret this purchase and I was very happy to replace the car.
Story
I really enjoyed being able to comfortably fit 5 people in this car and easily speed up the mountains. This car is very sporty.
Pros
This car has a beautiful interior and is very fun to drive. The engine itself was reliable and performed well. The safety features are the car and crash test ratings are superior. The interior including the back seat is very roomy. The trunk is large for a sedan and the back seats easily unfold for you to be able to store long items.
Cons
What a money pit! Every single time something broke (which was often) it costs so much more than other cars to repair. You pay luxury vehicle maintenance prices on a car that is far from luxury. The timing belt maintenance is crazy expensive because of the way they designed the car. If you think this car has an affordable price, in the long wrong it does not.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my car. It performs great and has advanced technology to remind me oil changes, services, etc. It's the perfect car for a college student/young adult.
Story
I've taken my VW on many road trips and adventures. It provides a very comfortable and enjoyable driving experience.
Pros
My car is compact, but still has enough room to fit 5 grown adults. The style is sleek and sophisticated. I love the fine details on my car, such as the VW embedded headlights.
Cons
Since my car is German manufactured, the cost for maintenance can get extremely pricey. I made the mistake of getting all leather interior, so it gets super hot during the summer (ouch!). The fuel economy is less than par compared to other vehicles/models on the market.

Easy to deal with. The salesperson was very friendly and understanding. We were able to process 5 or 6 cars to see if what the final cost would be and determine our best option. It was also very nice that there was no haggling or pressure from the supervisors.

The price was good, and they worked with me the entire way. The entire experience was a good one, this is my first non craigslist car purchase and I couldn't be happier.
