My 2000 Buick Century has been a great asset to me. I commute 2+ hours each way to work up and down a mountain pass. The car is in decent shape for being 17 years old. The interior is very nice, minimal wear and tear. The motor is still going strong, even after climbing a large mountain pass five days a week. The paint job is just barely starting to dull. This car is so spacious that I am able to sleep laying down in the backseat very comfortably on my lunch breaks. The gas mileage that this Buick gets is very good in my opinion. I only have to fill up maybe every three or four days, and it only costs me $25 to $35, depending on current gas prices. I have never had any problems with any mechanical parts. For instance, the windows roll up and down automatically and with ease. The... (more)
Story
One day, the kids and I decided to go horseback riding and my husband had the truck so we all pilled into the Buick and it fit us all and all of our stuff, which I was very surprised at. We had a beautiful day riding and picnicking, and thank goodness the car was big enough or we would have missed out that day.
Pros
Low fuel mileage and great A/C and heater. Everything in great working order. Very spacious. My favorite part of the vehicle is the reliability of it.
Cons
Negative is the color: the gold is ugly. No cup holders is probably number one though.

2002 Buick Century - I love my v-6 engine, the car has power and is very roomy inside.

I have a 2002 Buick Century, and I bought it used with 70,000 miles on it. The style is nice but the hood feels really long. The interior is very roomy and can fit up to 6 people comfortably. The trunk is big and hold a lot of groceries. I was even able to take it camping and had enough room for an 8 person tent, camp stove, firewood, two ice chests, screen room, two duffle bags, big comforter, and 4 pillows. Needless to say it has plenty of room. The seats are comfortable and have a lot of cushion and back support. My car has not been in the shop very much, not even before I bought it. It's had a leak in the oil tank fixed, and the regulator in the window went out and was replaced. The only thing else it has needed is a few new tires. The replacement prices were fair. The car does not... (more)
Story
I took this car camping with my boyfriend.
Pros
I love the V-6 engine, cushion seats, the air conditioner gets really cold, and the car handles well.
Cons
One of the negative things about the car is that the gas mileage is high. I only get about 290 miles per gallon on a 13- gallon tank.
