2012 Buick Encore - Nice Sedan
Overall, a nice family car. But it does make you choose between power and fuel savings.
Story
Hoing on family vacation to mount rush more the ride was comfortable enough I rarely hear my 2 children complain because they were often lulled to sleep by the Lacrosse's gentle easy ride.
Pros
Pros –
The entertainment system was top notch and had good sound throughout the cabin. The 2012 Lacrosse also have a large cabin area with plenty of leg-room for both the tallest passengers and the driver. Whether your travels are just going across town or across the county, the Lacrosse provides the quiet and comfortable ride that Buick has been known for. It offers surprisingly reasonable gas mileage thanks in great part to the E assist model, which is 4 cylinder with an electric motor to help out fuel efficiency. This gives it a surprisingly high 25/36 mpg city/highway.
Cons
Cons –
Unfortunately, in order to get the high gas mileage stated above, the 4 cylinder has to give up power. However Buick does offer a six cylinder if it’s power you crave but the gas mileage also predictably goes down to an EPA-estimated 18/28 mpg city/highway. So you have to ultimately choose between power or fuel efficiency. Also the trunkss a little on the small side when compared with older Buicks.
