I like the style of my vehicle. The color and body shape are very appealing. It provides a great comfortable ride. The back seat is roomy. There is a great storage area in the back. Plenty of room for groceries and storage. The car is very peppy yet I feel very safe driving it. It has four wheel drive which makes it handle very well in inclement weather. The only dislike I have about this vehicle is the gas mileage. It gets approximately 16-18 miles per gallon. Other than that, I have no complaints. The car has needed minimal amount of work in spite of the high mileage. Most of the work done has been for preventative maintenance. The front seats recline making it very comfortable for both driver and passenger. The car handles well and is easy to operate. I plan on keeping... (more)
Story
A memorable story I have about this vehicle is a ride home during a bad snow storm. Cars were getting stuck all over the road. I put my vehicle in the four wheel drive mode and was able to drive right through the snow with virtually no effort.
Pros
There are many positive things about this vehicle. The looks and style are very appealing. The color is appealing as well. The interior of the car is very comfortable and does not get hot in summer and cold in winter. The car handles well in all types of weather. The capability to switch from two wheel drive to four wheel drive is very convenient and a great safety feature of the car. The car is easy to drive, handles well, is very peppy. It has needed very little mechanical work; most of it has been preventive maintenance. The car has very high mileage but still runs great. It ha... (more)
Cons
The top negative thing about this vehicle is the gas mileage. While many vehicles are getting over thirty miles to the gallon, this vehicle gets between sixteen to eighteen miles per gallon. With the price of gas being so high at this time, this is definitely a major problem with this vehicle. Another negative thing about this vehicle is that it holds five adults maximum. Sometimes there is a need to put more people in a car when going out in a large group and with this vehicle it is impossible to do so. Another negative feature of this vehicle are the rear side windows. The rear sid... (more)

This vehicle was amazing. I got it with low mileage, in almost perfect condition since the original owners kept it garaged. It was white, so it was very visually appealing. The engine seemed very powerful, and I never had any problems in the snow. It had a great turn radius, so most times if I needed to turn around I didn't have to do a 3-point turn. The interior was dark grey and very comfortable. As an older car it was a square shape, so it was very easy to see all around. There were no blind spots.
Story
Taking a road trip up to Albany during my college years. We got lost, and wound up driving places we shouldn't have!
Pros
Overall I absolutely loved this car! The best ting about it was that it was built like a tank. Newer cars (for example a Honda) become dented if you flick it. The Blazer seemed indestructible. I once had another car run a red light, her car was totaled and mine held up nicely. Very safe for newer drivers! Another pro is that the car is very spacious, and you can put down the back seat to make a huge trunk. This was perfect for traveling to and from college. I loved the numerical, computerized display on the dashboard. The seats were dark leather, and the car had a moonroof. Although it was... (more)
Cons
The major con is that they unfortunately no longer make this car. Chevrolet has now begun making the TrailBlazer, which is much larger than the Blazer. The Blazer was not great on gas (down to about 13 mpg by the time I changed cars, although at this point it was 20+ years old). Knowing how poor this mileage is, I would not want to go for the bigger Trailblazer (which is also very difficult to drive and see out of). It was not a problem when I first got the car (had 2000-2013), but starting around 2005 it became difficult to get parts to fix the car.
