The Chevy Cavalier leaves a lot to be wanted. It is not a fast car. It is not a stylish car. It is just a car. It is nothing special. If you want something that will get you from point A to B, then this is the car for you. If you want something with some charisma, this is not the car for you. It is very basic from the interior to the exterior. There is nothing that is special about the car. It is reliable and does get good gas millage. That is about the only positive thing to say about it, other than it is just a car.

The Chevrolet Cavalier is a reliable car with great gas mileage, which is especially appreciated in the current economy (averaging approximately 25 miles per gallon). It has a sleek exterior and, at the time of purchase, had a variety of colors to choose from. The air conditioner runs smoothly and has ABS brakes, day running lights, and front wheel drive. There's enough room in the trunk to store baby strollers, too! The model I own has manual windows and the sound system is sub par, however. The door locks are manual, too, which can be a pain in winter months when you have to search for your keys under multiple layers of clothing. I've also had to have my brake pads replaced multiple times. There are front airbags but according to crash reports the sides are very weak, which makes me wish there were side impact airbags, too. All and all it's been a great car, and after even owning it for over ten years now I still don't look forward to replacing it. I've never had to replace the engine, but I should note I have less than 50,000 miles on it and take the car in for regular check-ups and oil changes.
