2009 Chevrolet Cobalt - Great cheap car
I bought this car when it had 12,000 miles on it, and it currently has 13,500 on it. I have not had a single issue with it. My Cobalt is a five speed, which makes it very fun to cruise around in. The shifting is smooth, and the transmission seems to be in great shape. The engine has no strange noises and runs perfectly. I have a coupe, and the front seats are very comfortable and stain resistant. The only issue that I've noticed and that will need to be addressed soon is that the exhaust seems to be rusting off.
Story
My girlfriend and I love taking this car to the drive-in theater near my house, laying on the hood and watching movies.
Pros
I installed subwoofers in the trunk (which there is plenty of room for and you will still have enough room leftover for a couple of suitcases or groceries or golf clubs), so my favorite part of the car is the speaker system. Another great aspect of this car is the fuel mileage. I average around 35 mpg on the highway and 31 mpg all around.
Cons
I think the worst this about this vehicle is that if you're a tall person, this is not the vehicle for you. I'm 6'1", and my head hits the ceiling every time I hit a bump in the road. I also wish the fuel tank was slightly bigger, because even though I get 30+ mpg, the small tank means I still have to fill up quite often. Two or three more gallons in the tank would really help. Since it's a coupe, the doors are very long, so it's easy to accidentally swing them out to far and hit stuff with the doors. Also, my Cobalt is bright yellow, and I hate yellow.
2007 Chevrolet Cobalt - Reliable little car.
This car is easy to drive, and comfortable on long trips. It is reliable and has required no extra maintenance beyond the regular expected. It has been economical to own. I have safely driven it on trips over 1,000. miles. The back seat is too small, fitting in child seat and any child over age three is difficult. The low carriage has made it difficult for me to transport elderly who have trouble using their legs/knees. My next car will be larger, as there is not enough cargo space to carry anything more then daily needs, such as groceries. This is a great car for driving around town, as it can fit into small parking spaces and maneuver in tight spaces. Quality seems good, but now at 12 years old, things are starting to dis-function. The computer port under the steering wheel does not ... (more)
Story
More then once, I have walked to another vehicle in a parking lot that was identical to mine thinking it was mine, then noticing the junk in the car was not mine.
Pros
Easy to drive, comfortable in the drivers seat, great maneuverability, economical, only routine maintenance needed so far to keep it safely on the road. Reliable in all weather.
Cons
No cargo space, back seat too small, to close to the ground.

2013 Chevrolet Cobalt - Ray Skillman Chevrolet Indianapolis
I have bought from here for 15 years.
They have great customer service.
As a group they are very nice people.
The sales people are not pushy at all.
Always had good luck with the service department.
