I was in the market to buy a new car. After doing my due diligence and looking at many car reviews I decided on the Ford Focus. After all Ford is one of the last great American automobile makers. I signed the papers for my new car among chaos at the dealership. The building actually caught on fire and it was quickly brought under control by local fire department. I should have taken that as a sign. Fast forward to now. The car has been northing but one factory recall after another. There was a known transmission problem with the clutch transmission in this model of Focus. The car would stall out and at times accelerate on it's own. It was in the shop for this problem from the first month I was paying for it up until now. It doesn't consistently go in reverse all the time now. As you can imagine parking is a challenge. I'm involved in the Class Action Lawsuit against Ford now. They apparently were aware of the issue from the beginning. And come to find out this is a model that was made in Mexico. The Class Action Lawsuit was won by us and their appeal is getting ready to be denied. I'm in Arbitration to have them refund my money under the Lemon Law of my state. One of the good things that I do like about it is the interior LED lighting package. You are able to have 5 different colors of light that illuminate the floor boards. I also enjoy the sound system that came factory With the car.
