2013 Dodge Dart - Not the best, but it has its good points.

The fuel economy is great, sometimes getting close to 40 mpg on the highway. It handles fairly well as long as it has high quality tires on it; the ones it came with didn't do well on gravel. It has more storage in the trunk than what you would expect, and the back seats fold down to accommodate longer objects. The radio, heater, etc. still work well even though it is 5 years old. The interior seating material is not very attractive, but it is very durable. The car sits so low that even lumpy gravel scrapes the bottom, and sometimes big trucks don't even see me on the road, which is a little scary. It has had some mechanical issues, including a recall, and, overall, I think it is just a cheap, cute, functional car.
Story
The car is a very vivid robin's egg blue and attracts a lot of attention. One day I was sitting in the car in the parking lot of a shopping center, and a group of elderly people who were out shopping together came over to look it over. They were circling around it really closely, not realizing that I was sitting in the car. When they realized I was there, they were embarrassed and apologized, ... (more)
Pros
My favorite feature is the gas mileage. I also like the color and the cute sporty appearance. It handles fairly well as long as you keep good tires on it. It has decent storage in the trunk, and the back seats fold down to accommodate longer objects; I brought a Christmas tree in it.
Cons
Mechanical issues (see below), sitting so low to the ground that sometimes big trucks look right over me and either pull out in front of me or run me off the road, sitting low also makes it hard to go thru drive thus or use ATMs, not very roomy in the driver's seat, and difficult for tall passengers to ride in it.

Great vehicle for those looking for a car that's fun to drive and cheap to own. The Dart isn't a sports car or a versatile SUV, but it is quick, customizable, and reliable. The car drove very well; no shaking at high speeds. My model was a six-speed stick shift, but I imagine automatic transmissions work nicely too. The interior is far from luxury but is easy to keep clean and has all of the features you'd expect in an affordable car in this day and age. Bluetooth phone connection with UConnect works and sounds great. This is partly due to the good stock speaker system in the car which can be upgraded if desired.
Story
This car made it all over the country, from the Northeast, to the southern tip of Florida, to the Grand Canyon.
Pros
The car looks very slick from the outside. It was easy to care for and always handled automatic car washes well (no spots hidden from the machine). The accent lighting inside the car gave a fun ambiance when driving at night. The large UConnect touch screen did a great job at displaying all available options. The car accelerated quickly for the tiny engine that it had, 1.4L Turbo, which was a great engine, especially because of the fuel efficiency it had. The car also handled very well, even in rain and snow. The size of the car allows you to park in most (if not all) parking spots even in... (more)
Cons
The hand brake on the car gave out at 36,000 miles right when the warranty ended. The front end of the car was very low and always scraped when there was a large curb or speed bump. The check engine light came on when the car was driving at high altitudes up a hill. The code said turbo under boost which didn't seem to affect performance or drivability, and it went off by itself. The car is supposed to take premium gas for the turbo engine which can get costly.

We visited this dealership twice. We didn't feel pressured to buy the first time we visited, even when we test drove the car. The sales staff took time to answer our questions and were patient with us when we needed time to talk things over. They understood that we had specific wants and needs and even worked to get us in the specific price range we needed. It was an overall great experience.
