This particular vehicle is old and worn out. The front is scratched up and the bumper is falling apart. Every week something new is wrong with it. One week it's the headlights. The next week the muffler falls off. The next week the check engine light is on. It's hard to feel safe in the car.

The Impala is a very dependable car with very little major repairs needed, even after having for a number of years and over 250,000 miles on it. It accelerates quickly and quietly so is very good for highway driving. I has a very large trunk that can take all the camping gear I put in it without issue and came with a full-sized spare which has come in handy a time or two. The A/C and heat pump out quickly to effectively cool or heat the interior. Both the front and back seats have seat belts to sit three people safely in both areas (that's six total with driver). The cruise control responds well to maintain the speed you set with out jerking or adjustment. The brake systems will make the car stop on a dime without making you spin out of control. Overall, this car is a workhorse that provides stellar safety and dependability while being visually appealing.
