I like the vehicle from a number of standpoints including the way it looks, the height it give me off of the road, and the way it handles. I use my truck for part time jobs including Uber, an onsite trash removal service, and then for personal use. I have never had a problem with the vehicle at any point. I purchased the vehicle new from a dealership when it had 5,000 miles on it. The truck had been used as a dealer service truck, and a close friend is the general manager of that dealership. He made me a terrific offer on the truck that I could not pass up. I always drove cars, but upon moving to Texas, decided to make the transition to a truck and have been very happy with the experience. The only thing I would have preferred about this vehicle is a better cabin experience from a tech... (more)
Story
When I used my truck for Uber, my passengers were always excited/thrilled to be in a nice truck, as opposed to some fuel efficient small car. I always felt very proud picking people up in my truck.
Pros
My favorite features include the color of the truck ( I love driving a white vehicle in Texas because of the heat, the truck stays cooler). I love the extended cab because I have a two year old daughter and there is plenty of room for a child seat. I am also please with the engine efficiency as I previously owned a Dodge Dakota which was smaller, and I feel like the mileage on the Silverado is as good or better despite being larger.
Cons
I would prefer more digital offerings in the cab such as built in navigation and better entrainment features. The tires that came with the truck aren't as large as some comparable trucks, and sometimes I think it looks less cool than other trucks on the road. Also I do occasionally hear some type of rattling sound when I put the engine into reverse, and being that there is only 15,000 miles I think things should be pretty quiet.

My truck is great for everyday use and for trips. There is lots of space in the back seat for my passengers. Even on trips, this vehicle is preferred by myself and my family. The drive is smooth. And, when seen from the road, the truck looks beautiful. It's very sleek and although it looks tough and durable, it still looks classy and sophisticated on the road. This vehicle will fit every outing, every event. From a classy Gala gathering to a trip to the drive in.
Story
We love taking this truck to our local drive in. I remember one time we invited a bunch of friends. And we opened up the truck bed and filled it with bean bags. The teens all got in the back and ate their snacks and watched the movie. It was so comfortable and fun for them that by the end of the night, many wanted to stay and sleep in that truck bed.
Pros
The pros of this vehicle are the roomy interior. Whether your taking a long or short trip, the passengers have lots of room to relax and enjoy the drive. The drive itself is very smooth. You don't feel the road. The exterior is beautiful and classy. The driver has everything they need in front of them. And, the driver is able to relax and enjoy the drive without feeling stiff. Its as if the interior adjusts to your body and your way of driving. The center conceal provides a place to put drinks or a play to lay your arm. There is lots of leg room for passengers and the driver.
Cons
Negative things about this truck is the gas. It's pricey to fill up. Even with the E82 option, its still pricey because not many gas stations offer that gas... and if they do, they sell out quickly. Another negative is that my engine went out when the vehicle was only 7 years old. To me, it should've lasted longer.
