The Tahoe is excellent on road in the city or highway but also exceeds expectations in off-road situations such as mud or snow. The Tahoe is easy to handle if familiar with a bigger vehicle and is a very smooth ride. With the automatic moving mirrors along with the rearview camera, the Tahoe is easy to park by reversing or even parallel parking. There are so many different controls as options such as memory seats, cooled, and heated seats as well as automatically folding rear seats. It's just hard to not like this vehicle.
Story
Driving through snow up the mountain. While other cars were getting stuck, the Tahoe cruised up the mountain no problem.
Pros
The interior is excellent, the seats are comfortable, and the ride is great. There is a lot of room, and due to the fact that the back seats and be removed and the front seats folded down, a lot of space can be made inside of the vehicle. The sound system is great and really packs a punch while the DVD system is a nice feature.
Cons
It does have a rather low MPG rating due to the weight and V8 engine. Depending on where you live, you can put in the lower grade fuel, (85 octane), but it does appear to cause a slightly sluggish response in the vehicle while driving.

This is a very reliable car. It runs great and has been well taken care of. It has leather seats, four wheel drive, cruise control, tow package, low mileage, and can use flex fuel. I have found it to drive very smoothly and has great tires. The heated seats are great in the cold Colorado weather and automatic everything makes the car easy to adjust as needed.
Story
Our family took a trip in this vehicle and it ran great. We had so much fun watching movies, listening to music, and just being together. This larger vehicle made it possible for us all to be in one car which saved us money.
Pros
I love the color; bright white. It has low mileage and drives great. The heated leather seats are amazing and I will never go without heated seats again. The captain chair seats in the middle are great for our family and having 7 seating capacity is absolutely necessary for my situation. The engine runs well; I have had two different mechanics look at it and both say it is well taken care of and should last for a long time. The automatic 3-wheel drive/4-wheel drive is nice when I don't remember to change it when weather is bad. I love that the mirrors can be brought in with a button and th... (more)
Cons
The Tahoe has a low mpg (around 11 mpg) which makes it an expensive car to drive. Using the flex-fuel option helps, but I feel like it burns more gas than regular gas (it gets like 8 mpg on flex-fuel). The truck has little room if any when the back row of seats is in use. It is fairly big so it took a while to learn to parallel park it. Occasionally, the back hatch gets stuck and doesn't automatically open/close. This vehicle did not come with a backup camera and it was costly to install.

Got a really good price for a pre owned Tahoe with all the bells and whistles and not too much mileage. My sales person was informative, not pushy. My only complaint is my seat warmers stopped working shortly after I got it. But I'm not going to take the car to the dealership for service though, because they always charge an arm and a leg. Taking it to my mechanic or doing it myself instead. This will probably be my only experience with them, not due to poor sale, just no reason to go back to them.
