My Toyota Highlander is the best vehicle I have ever owned. It is unbelievably reliable. I have only just recently had to replace the battery, and that is the only part that I have had to replace. It has over 67,000 miles on it. It is the perfect size vehicle for our family's needs. The paint and trim have all held up nicely. It has held its value also. I drive mostly in-town miles, but it is very comfortable for long road trips also. The 4WD performs great in snowy/icy conditions, and I use the snow mode often during winter time. One thing I love about this vehicle is that it is a mid-size SUV that drives like a car. The seating position and stance of the vehicle does not make it feel too large when driving. It has a great turning radius for an SUV that allows me to park an... (more)
Story
I left home and when I got to the store around the corner and went to lock my car, I realized I had forgotten my key fob back at home in the garage right beside my car!! I had to get my husband to drive over to bring me my key to get back home.
Pros
My absolute favorite feature of this car (this may sound odd) is that it has four cup holders between the driver and passenger seats. Newer models do not have this feature, and it easily allows me the driver and passenger to have a drink each and room for phone, etc. remains. My other favorite feature is the mirror in the flip down sunglass holder. I use it daily with my two kids in the backseat!
Cons
This vehicle is a bit of a dog where power and get up and go are concerned. That is my biggest complaint about this vehicle. I also do not like the media display in the vehicle as it is not very intuitive.

2003 Toyota Highlander - Love it. Keeps on trucking.

The vehicle is a good vehicle for safety. It does great in any kind of weather and road conditions. The car hasn't needed a lot of work and has been very reliable. What I have disliked is that the check engine light comes on all the time, whether or not there is actually work to be done. Gas guzzler and slow at acceleration.
Story
One of my favorite memories was one cold winter we went to visit my horse, and the car was bumping gently over the washboard dirt road, and my horse was just walking alongside the vehicle. I ended up off-roading a little to stick with him, and the car did great.
Pros
Color, safety, reliability, and easy to drive.
Cons
Gas guzzler, slow accelerator, and outdated.

Larry offered me a great car at a great price! It was much more affordable than the other locations I looked at, and the car had less miles too!

The location of the dealership was right next to my place. The online salesman was really helpful and walked me through every step considering this was my first time buying a car.
