Efficient daily driver. A 170-horsepower engine comes standard on every model. Although the Rogue is not the most powerful crossover in its class, it does return good gas mileage. Drivers can look for ward to getting a solid 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. Furthermore, you don’t have to spend extra money on premium gas. Easy to drive. The 2017 Nissan Rogue is a very easy vehicle to drive. Unlike a large SUV, the Rogue is not a pain to park. It also feels very stable on the interstate. You will also like the crossover’s stable handling. Even when traveling on twisty roads, the Rogue does not feel clumsy. Surprisingly good off-road vehicle. The acceleration is not great with this Nissan. My kids are always making fun of me when I am trying really hard to get go faster, but I am not able.

Cons
Not quick. The Rogue’s acceleration will definitely not take your breath away. Compromises outward visibility. Ehen driving the Nissan Rogue, you may experience limited outward visibility. Thick windshield pillars can block the driver’s line of sight. Visibility out the rear window can also be a problem at times. A backup camera can help. Not made for towing.

The Nissan Rogue is a great little SUV. The reason I initially purchased the car was for a vehicle with higher clearance and AWD capabilities and this vehicle has met my expectations. For a vehicle with a 4 cylinder engine the car performs well, even in the mountains. Nissan makes a good car that is sturdy, performs well, and is low maintenance.
Story
Came across a four-wheel drive trail in the Colorado mountains one day and decided to see if I could take the route. Nothing too serious, but a bit rutty and fairly step. The car performed great and had no trouble navigating the path. At the end of the trail there was a beautiful lake with 360 views of the mountain range.
Pros
Great style and sleek lines make the car attractive. The sound system, navigation and XM package are a bonus. The steering wheel controls are convenient and well placed for ease of use. Gas mileage is decent and the car is low maintenance. Good room for hauling lots of stuff and a comfortable ride.
Cons
Although the sound system package and the XM radio are great, the maps upgrades are expensive. Although the car has AWD capabilities, when activated the system will disengage after a certain speed. I would like to have the AWD feature remain engaged until I turn it off. The vehicle is a small-mid sized SUV and could benefit from a bit more leg room all around. Although the 4 cylinder engine performs well, upgrading to the Murano and a 6 cylinder engine would be my choice if I were to purchase another vehicle in the near future.
