Jeep Liberty Denver, CO OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

Powerful, boxy, and not fuel efficient.
To begin, I love the cars engine. It is pretty fast and can accelerate quickly. A bad part about the car is the windows don't work when it gets too cold out and the passenger seat window has to be pushed down to work, so I believe the windows are slowly dying and won't be able to work for long. I also wish the color was darker than it is. I don't love the bright red color I have. Moving on, I like the cars sound system. I think for how old it is it preforms very well and has good bass.

A great all around vehicle
The 2008 Jeep Liberty Sport is a smallish rear/four-wheel drive SUV. It has good handling with being a higher profile vehicle. I have owned it for several years and it is very steady and dependable. As it is an SUV the gas mileage isn't wonderful but is acceptable. The four doors make it comfortable for passengers (can seat a total of five) and the back hatch is handy for hauling a number of items. The back hatch lifts upward which is not as convenient as the side opening hatch which I've noticed on other Liberties. I've encountered few major problems with my Liberty which I purchased used. It has decent hauling capabilities for its size much more so than the Jeep Wrangler. I live in a rural area with unmaintained roads and this past winter when our heavy snow accumulation finally began to thaw, the four-wheel drive handled admirably. Although I once got stuck up to the axles the process of getting unstuck did not damage to the under carriage. With it having close to 150,000 miles on it, I suppose there is some major maintenance that will need to be done, however, I'm hopeful the my Jeep Liberty Sport will remain my faithful companion for several more years to come. I only wish that production of the Liberty hadn't ended in 2016. At least there are still some used ones out there.

Jeep Liberty
I like the size and comfort. The seats recline and are comfy. I like the SUV feel to it. It has a nice radio, and it is the perfect size for being big but not too big. It, however, is slightly cheap and things fall apart easily. My window control arms failed and had to be completely replaced. The engine is easy to work on and is sturdy, but the body of my car dents and scratches easily.
