2006 Jeep Liberty - Powerful, boxy, and not fuel efficient.

To begin, I love the cars engine. It is pretty fast and can accelerate quickly. A bad part about the car is the windows don't work when it gets too cold out and the passenger seat window has to be pushed down to work, so I believe the windows are slowly dying and won't be able to work for long. I also wish the color was darker than it is. I don't love the bright red color I have. Moving on, I like the cars sound system. I think for how old it is it preforms very well and has good bass.
Story
I like listening to music with the windows down in the summer time.
Pros
The top positive things are the sound system, engine, and reliability. First, I think the sound system is amazing for how old the car is. It has great bass and is very clear to listen to music. Moving on, I also like the engine. I think it is a powerful engine and the car has good acceleration. Lastly, I believe it is a very reliable car. There is little maintenance required for the car and it's nice not having to worry about having to pay extra for car troubles.
Cons
The top negative things are the fuel efficiency, the windows, and the cars color. I feel like 16 miles per gallon isn't enough compared to other cars being made in today's world. I wish I could get more miles per gallon for the car. Next, I think the windows aren't made to last long because the longer I've had the car the more problems there are with the windows. They are becoming not automatic and you have to push them down which is a pain. Lastly, I wish the car had a darker red color to purchase. I don't want to spend money on getting the car painted but I wished I could've had the chan... (more)

The 2008 Jeep Liberty Sport is a smallish rear/four-wheel drive SUV. It has good handling with being a higher profile vehicle. I have owned it for several years and it is very steady and dependable. As it is an SUV the gas mileage isn't wonderful but is acceptable. The four doors make it comfortable for passengers (can seat a total of five) and the back hatch is handy for hauling a number of items. The back hatch lifts upward which is not as convenient as the side opening hatch which I've noticed on other Liberties. I've encountered few major problems with my Liberty which I purchased used. It has decent hauling capabilities for its size much more so than the Jeep Wrangler. I live in a rural area with unmaintained roads and this past winter when our heavy snow accumulation finally bega... (more)
Story
The Liberty was great car camping in Arizona and driving the sandy roads through Saguaro National Park.
Pros
Seats five. Low maintenance. 4WD.
Cons
Lower gas mileage. Hatch back opens upward rather than to the side.

I have owned my Jeep Liberty for nine years now, and I will forever be a Jeep owner. I like the size of the vehicle. It is not too big. I can park just as easily as if I were in a car, but it is high up since it is an SUV, so I feel very safe. I like the way the vehicle looks. I think they are cute and sporty looking. In the nine years I have owned the vehicle, I have had no major mechanical issues, and the only expenses I have incurred have been for normal vehicle maintenance and normal wear and tear. The vehicle is reliable and drives well in all types of weather. I live in a state where we get a lot of snow, and my Jeep has always gotten me safely where I need to go in a snow storm.
Story
One memorable even was when there was a terrible snow storm, and every car on my street was stuck except for mine. The Jeep was the only vehicle able to plow through the snow, so I went and got supplies for myself and my neighbors.
Pros
The top positive thing about my Jeep Liberty is the way it drives and handles in the snow, I used to be nervous when driving in inclement weather, but my Jeep always makes me feel safe. The part-time four-wheel drive works great when and where it is needed, and I always feel safe, even in bad weather.
Cons
The one negative thing about the Jeep is that it does not get good gas mileage.

This dealership has had prompt and reliable service. I needed to investigate a leak of clear fluid coming from under my car and they accurately diagnosed the problem, and fixed it the same day at a reasonable price. I feel like Brandon Dodge was fair, efficient, and friendly.
