My Chevy Trailblazer has more than 140,000 miles and runs great. It sounds solid, and drives just as good as a new car. When I took it for a test drive I was concerned a car that more than 10 years old would have some problems. It passed my inspection and the test drive amazing well. The air conditioning blows extremely cold air. I mean really cold. I live in Oklahoma and my car gets colder than my house air conditioner. The engine runs smoothly and starts quickly every time. I would buy another Trailblazer when the opportunity arises. It's been a very reliable car for me. I am the third owner but the car is so well built it doesn't show the typical wear and tear of a car approaching 150,000 miles, and still running smoothly. Chevy did a great job with features like back seats that fol... (more)
Story
My son and I drove the Trailblazer to Disney, Oklahoma. We participated in a Jeep outing along a mostly dry riverbed. Our trailblazer was able to do everything the jeeps could do and we didn't have to remove the roof or doors and did it with windows up enjoying the hot summer with the comfort of our air-conditioner.
Pros
The Chevy Trailblazer drives like a car but seems to be as sturdy as a truck. It's the perfect mid-size SUV because you get the benefits of a 5 passenger vehicle and yet the durability and practical design of a small truck. The air conditioner is clearly a plus for parts of the region where you need to feel cool when it's over 100 degrees outside. The air conditioner is so efficient I set it on medium or low after the car cools off, even the hottest days during summer. There are no blind spots, and the window design gives you full panoramic view to drive safely. For a mid-size SUV the susp... (more)
Cons
The 8 position power seat is the only seat with this feature, it would be nice if Chevy carried this over to the front passenger side as well, especially on long trips where you want to get the most comfortable position for the passenger. The standard wheels appear cheaper than most for a car that gives off this strength and stature. Perhaps that's available on the next trim level. The plastic/rubber surrounding the bumper seems to have faded more severely than it should have. I am unable to get the original luster regardless of what silicone protectant I use to give it a newer look. The w... (more)

It is a pretty old car and I have not had any trouble with it. It has a good size trunk for a little car. It will hold our ice chest and all kinds of camping stuff that we need to fit in it. It has four wheel drive, so I have no trouble getting around in the ice or snow. I have awesome air conditioning in it. It blows really cold air and the heat works great, too. The best part of the car is that I have excellent gas mileage. This car you can fill up for about $30 which is amazing to me! The car has a great sounding radio in it, especially for an older car. It doesn't sound like anything is loose in my car. The interior is in really good shape also. The trim had lost a little shine but I got some black shine stuff that made it look really good after just a couple of applications. I wou... (more)
Story
I got to take my son to his first football practice in the car. He was nervous and then when we got there he just went out there and did great.
Pros
This car is fuel efficient! It is a cute little SUV. It has four wheel drive. It has a great radio. It doesn't make any funny noises. It looks a lot newer than it is. It has a lot of trunk space. It has a pretty interior. It has a good air conditioner. It has a good heater. It is quite roomy for a little car. It has good interior lighting. It has comfortable seats. It has a cd player. It runs really good. I have not had any problems with getting stalled.
Cons
It is an older car. It has a very loud motor sound. All the dash gauges have quit working. It is not quite as stylish as some other models. The color is champagne. It kind of gets cramped when my kids have friends with them. You can sometimes smell odors from the motor. The trim is not quite as black as it use to be. It's not a great car for tall people. There are a few stains on the floor. There are a few cigarette holes. The car kind of smells like cigarettes from the previous owner. Some of the rubber around the door has started falling off. I have to remember the shift positions beca... (more)
