I have a 2014 Ford Explorer Limited. I love that I can turn on the different terrains for what I am going to be driving in. The 3rd row seating is perfect for my 3 children and there is a lot of room for everyone. It's a smooth drive and awesome to have.
Story
We had a crazy snow storm and everyone was sliding everywhere. Cars by me were sliding off the road and I just turned on my snow terrain and kept on going like normal and had zero issues.
Pros
3Rd row seating heated and cooled seats in the front row heated seats in the second row good gas mileage Amazing head room Great stereo Back-up camera
Cons
The lack of leg room in the 3rd row. Doesn't accelerate as fast as I would like Headlights could be brighter would like all seats to be heated and cooled or the family

We purchased the vehicle because it had a very nice appearance, it was loaded with technological bells and whistles, and it seated 7 people.
Pros
The ability to synchronize your electronic devices to play through the sound system was nice. Also, it offers a Bluetooth hands-free telephone system. The vehicle sends automatic reports to Ford to let you know how "healthy" the vehicle is. It drives like a dream through snow and ice. The vehicle seats 7 fairly easily. The seats are very easy to clean. It has traction control and 4 wheel drive for sticky situations where your vehicle may get stuck, or you may lose control of the vehicle.
Cons
Unfortunately, in the first 15,000 miles the vehicle developed transmission issues. At 54,000 highway miles driven it now has no back windshield washer, because a tube displaced itself. It has no piston to hold up the back window when you open it, having burst during a heat wave. The transmission is still very clunky and unresponsive. There is a vacuum leak somewhere in the engine system. Getting kids and multiple car seats settled is a major ordeal. The gas mileage is extremely poor and makes it cheaper to fly by plane in many situations than to drive.

When I got there I was very excited about an eclipse I had seen from the street but it was out of my price range. I looked at some other cars but was not happy with what I saw. I was about to leave when the owner stopped me and directed me to a crown Victoria that was in really great. shape. It was out of my price range but he dropped the price for me. I was really pleasantly surprised.
