2008 Ford Mustang - Sporty and dependable.
The Ford Mustang is a vehicle that's been in constant production since 1965, the prior years bugs have been worked out of the engine and engineering of the body. I love the body style of this year, it's sleek and sporty. I am the original owner, currently I've driven 100,000 miles in the car and there are no rattles in the doors or body. The engine has held up exceptionally well with regular oil changes and checking the other fluids at the same time. I've had no problems other than having to change the battery twice. The interior is nice, black seats, carpet, dash and console, bucket seats in the front and back, the cloth has held up well. The rear window has a defroster. The paint job has also held up well with no fading or oxidation. The back seats fold down giving passengers’ access... (more)

The truck is large enough to carry a hidden spare tire, has an automatic light under the lid so one can see in the dark.
Early one Saturday morning my husband and I were on our way to Tulsa. The on ramp to the Hwy is a 4 way light 2 lanes each going north and sound. The on and off ramps are two lanes as well. We were waiting at the red light, the only vehicle on the road except for an Oklahoma Highway Patrol unit (Dodge Charger) that pulled up next to us. The officer rolled his window down and revved his engine, my husband rolled the passengers window down, smiled and revved our engine, the two revved at the same time while nodding. The light turned green and both my husband and the OHP officer took off like teenagers, we were now engaged in a street race with law enforcement. This on ramp is about a quarter mile of two lanes and the men used the full length of the road. When it was over both were laughing, smiled and waved at each other and I'm sure that officer was laughing all the way down the highway at the wife yelling at her husband to stop racing the cop.
My vehicle is a V6 5 speed, gas mileage is 17 city and 26 highway but that depends on acceleration from red lights, maxing out each gear and whether or not the engine is maintained regularly or not (i.e.: oil changes, check engine light, etc.). The 5 speed transmission shifts smooth, except 2nd gear is 2 clicks in and if it pops out the gears will grind. This vehicle is a sports car so shifting 1st gear 25 mph, 2nd gear 40-50 mph, 3rd gear you can get up to 65 mph before getting close to red lining it and 4th gear is high speed power driving. 5th gear is really over drive and great for hig... Steering is tight with immediate response, very comfortable making tight high speed turns in the car. The Shaker 500 and speakers have great sound quality.
The Shaker 500 had to be replaced shortly before the 36,000 mile warranty due to the CD player failing. The unit had the exact same failure about 6 months out of warranty. The light in the truck is not securely in place so it keeps popping out when the trunk is closed. The front seat belts will strangle you, a clasp needs to be designed to keep the shoulder part of the seat belt down across the drivers shoulder.

2004 Ford Mustang - Super reliable car.
I have had my v6 04 Mustang for well over ten years now, and never had it in the shop for anything other than routine oil changes and spark plug changes. It was my first car and has served me well over all the years that I have owned it. It got me to every class at every college I went to, and it got me to every job interview and work day that I have had. I never had to worry about the car breaking down even once. On top of that, it a real eye-catcher in competition orange and looks pretty cool overall. They can be obtained really cheaply nowadays, and if I ever talk to anyone looking for a great car that will serve them well while looking good driving down the road, I tell them to get one of these. Also, the gas mileage is pretty good for an older car. I highly recommend it as an affo... (more)

It was the last day of college for the year, and there were heavy downpours of rain all day. It flooded so bad that when I drove through them, the lower interior parts of my car were wet due to how high the water was. The Mustang operated fine and never ran into any problems from it.

Great reliability. Looks cool. Good gas mileage. Easy to work on and parts are pretty cheap and common.

The interior is very basic. The base model v6 is not very fast.
