Perfect car for a large family
Purchased this Traverse because we needed a fuel efficient automobile that would transport a family of 6 with extra seats for friends. This car fit the bill. The seats are comfortable and the third row isn't small and shallow like many others that we test drove. The 4 wheel drive is great in the winter and we have had no issue in the snow even with 110" of snow in a single 3 week time period. One of the cons I have is that the seatbelt in the middle row are stationary and the person sitting in the middle is squeezed in in order to buckle up. They also dig into you. Not my idea of comfortable. Some of the outlets for the air also pop off and its not easy to reattach. The split seats in the rear are perfect for putting one down when transporting a large item. Relatively fuel efficient at 22 mpg on the highway and 18mpg in town. Larger fuel tank means I'm not living at the gas station. Trunk is an OK size for groceries and cargo. Carrier was easy to attach to roof. We also use it for towing and have not had a problem.
