2012 Chevrolet Traverse - Comfortable and reliable.
What I really like about this vehicle is how roomy it is. We have three children and are able to fit all their car seats an we have room for three extra people. I like being in a bigger vehicle because it feels safer with my children. The trunk of the traverse is so big we were able to fit a whole couch in it. Some other things I like are how comfortable the seats are. We like to take family vacations in the vehicle and feel like we're traveling in style! We are the second owner of this traverse and have put around 6,000 miles on it in the last two years. We have never had any problems with it! Cons are that the third row isn't as roomy as the other rows in the truck. This isn't a huge problem for us since we seldom use it as a sitting area but if you had more than five people needing ... Story
A fun memory in this vehicle is taking a road trip to Saint Louis in it. We always have a ton of fun on road trips and enjoy playing games. And singing along the way. The traverse never let us down the entire way there and back!
Pros
My top favorite things about this vehicle are how comfortable it is and how safe it feels.
Cons
The fact that the third row is pretty tiny.
2010 Chevrolet Traverse - Will never by another Chevy Traverse
When we first bought this vehicle we thought we found a good family car for vacations and all the running around that comes with having a growing active family. What we found was a very uncomfortable car for long distance trips. After having the vehicle for 5 years I still have not been able to find a position that I can drive in for longer than about 30 minutes before I start to get uncomfortable. We've also had a few more mechanical problems with it than I would expect of a car that is only 5 years old. We thought we had the starter go out on us to find out that it was the fly wheel had burned out in 3 positions.
It does handle nicely pulling our popup camper and the back is roomy enough my wife who runs her own cleaning business can fit all her supplies in the back without setting ... (more)
Story
I don't have any.
Pros
Pulls our popup camper with ease.
Plenty of room behind the second row of seats for equipment or other cargo.
Cons
Reliability has not been there for what we would like.
Uncomfortable to drive or ride in for any length of time
No dual zone climate control for the front seats.
