Built almost like cars used to be.
In general I am pretty happy with the car. It is big enough to haul stuff around and has enough seats to fit six people comfortably. It is able to tow our camper without any problems. I feel like it is built well and have not had any major issues since we bought it. The gas mileage is better than in cars that I have driven in the past. I was used to driving vans for years and hate driving small cars, the Traverse gives me enough room to feel comfortable, without being over bulky.

Chevy Traverse is good
I really like the body style and think it has the potential to be a great car. We bought it used with quite a few miles, so some of the issues we have had may just be because of general wear and tear. It sometimes doesn't like to turn over in the colder weather days, it takes a little persuasion. The back windows in the 3rd row and the rear window are a little small. There are quite a few huge blind spots that make it hard to see behind you when traveling on the highway. And the seat belts in the 3rd row are hard to get to if you have a booster seat in the back. Multiple times we have had to crawl into the back to help our 6 year old buckle their seat belt because there isn't quite enough space for the booster in the allotted space between the side of the car and the seat belt. It is frustrating for this child to have to have help with a seat belt when with our previous car she had not had any issues for 2+ years. The car handles great, I like the feel of it, it feels like you are driving a car instead of a large SUV. The front is roomy and has lots of leg space, but the 3rd row is a little more crowded than we originally thought because the seats are not as wide as the 2nd row.
