Great Family Car
Love this car with a large family. The third row seating is a must. Anyone with a lot of gear to travel with this is a must. Will fit 7-8 people comfortably. Will also have room for some stuff with that many people. Nice vehicle great ride. Love having the jump drive option for music. Have to be careful about the size of the drive too large and it will reset and start back from the beginning.

TRAVELING WITH THE TRAVERSE
Looking to purchase a new SUV Chevy, I found myself leasing instead of buying and my final choice was the Traverse. I wasn’t looking for great gas mileage, although, for a big car, the Traverse isn’t awful. I was looking for a safe transport vehicle that would allow me to move my college age child and all the “stuff” that goes along with it into a college near the Canadian border. The Traverse allowed me all the interior room needed to accomplish this. With the third and second row seating folding down in an extremely easy manner, loading the car was a snap. Driving 6.5 Hours on mountainous roads in the dead of winter proved to be an enjoyable ride. The handling of the Traverse on snowy and tricky road conditions gave me a confidence I hadn’t experienced before. I can’t say enough about the comfort of the ride. My back never hurt, plenty of leg and body room, great visibility from every angle, and the knowledge that if something did happen, I was protected by multiple airbags. The Traverse was able to accelerate smoothly on the steep inclines and hugged the road on the curvy parts – never once making me feel that I wasn’t in full control.

Traverse - Take it or leave it?
I love my Traverse in spite of being ambivalent about trading in my Toyota Sienna and taking on a car loan. The extras in my edition (heated seats!) make riding comfortable for long trips. We have had very few issues with mechanical items. The car has been easy to maintain. We were told this came only in seven seats. We wanted more passenger seating. I did find out later that there IS an eight seat Traverse. If and when I have to upgrade I will be buying the same vehicle in a newer year with the eight seats.
