Most Reliable truck around!
I was skeptical about owning a Chevrolet at first. I was mistaken. This truck is really made tough. It has a huge towing capacity (up to 10,000 pounds). I like that when we use it to tow our boat or another vehicle, you cannot really tell that you are towing anything. Most vehicles pull and use a lot of gas. Not the Silverado. The engine is so quiet when you crank it, you can rarely tell that it is on, and that is not normal for a V8 engine. The only down fall is that ( as with any Chevy) it always has catalytic converter issues right around the 100-thousand mile mark. That is the only work I have ever had to do to my truck. It is a tough truck, nothing has ever broke down on it. A lot of people told me that it would begin leaking around the back windows, but of course, I have not had that issue either.

I love my truck.
The Chevrolet Silverado I own is extended cab. It seats up to 6 people. I love that it has great horsepower and the solid body. The Chevrolet is so powerful. I love the look of the truck and the squared off features of the hood. I chose a black truck for the style and look. My truck has many amenities such as cruise control and stereo Bluetooth as well as power seats. The Silverado is a strong sturdy truck. The Silverado came equipped with side steps which are important to get up in the truck with the 20" rims. My Silverado is the Texas edition and I'm glad I chose it. If I could change anything about my truck I would have got a quad cab. I also would have got darker seats in the truck because they stain easily. The Silverado seems to have minor parts that give out such as the door handle falling off. I would have gotten a brand new truck instead of used. I would have bought a 4x4 truck for winter conditions.

A reliable everyday vehicle
This is the fourth Silverado 4x4 that I have owned during the last 25 years and have been quite pleased with it. Currently, at 120,000 miles, I have not had to do any work on this truck other than routine maintenance and rear brakes. It is dependable, always starts and is functional for any type of situation I need it for. For a four-wheel drive truck, it rides and handles better than you would expect, and if you pay attention to driving style, you can get considerably better gas mileage than other trucks of the same size. The only thing that I occasionally dislike is the length of the bed, because this is a four-door truck, the bed is shorter than a standard 1500 or F150, limiting the volume of cargo that can be easily carried. I have never used the auto 4wd so have no experience on that, but the occasions that I have used 4wd low (getting forklift out of mud etc.) the truck has performed well. I do have to put about 800 pounds of weight in the bed when the forecast calls for heavy snow, but that works really well and eliminates the need to use 4wd high. Have only used 4wd high a couple times during heavy snowstorms when I have not had a chance to put weight in the bed, and those few times it handled really well. Always felt in complete control.
