Used Chevrolet Lumina for Sale

The appearance of the Chevy Lumina perhaps left something to be desire, however it was very roomy inside and comfortable during long trips. Because of it's length, it could sometimes be difficult to maneuver, specifically turning. The car performed well overall, and proved to be very safe during an accident.

I drive a white 1993 Chevy Lumina. We bought the car after my husband hit a deer with our old vehicle. The car is pretty dependable. It has very low miles for the year. The seating is VERY comfortable. It is a four door car, which makes it easier to get in and out of. We had to replace the head gasket, which is pretty costly overall. but other than that it's been a good car.

I recently had bought this car last year in 2013 and I felt that the car did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, I was thoroughly disappointed after having the car for roughly half a year. The car was used, but nevertheless the mileage was roughly 120,000. I had severe problems with oil leaks and the breaks were constantly having problems as well. The total costs that were associated with repairing this car came out to be roughly 50% of the purchase price. The previous owner properly maintained the car and I conducted a thorough investigation on the car prior to purchase. All is not lost, the car's performance is impressive. Acceleration, handling, steering, and speed were above my expectations. The interior was clean and attractive and it nicely complemented the body-frame exterior. The car was also remarkably safe; it has an impressive safety rating. Braking, as iterated before, caused a substantial amount of problems for me. Performance wise, everything was top-notch and adequate. I'm not sure if I would recommend this car to a friend considering all the problems that arose that were primarily caused by manufacturing issues on Chevy's part. I may have just been unlucky however.
