I have had my 2008 Chevy Equinox LT for 8 years now and it has been a pretty good car for the most part. It is considered an SUV, but drives smooth like a car and doesn't feel like you are way too high above the ground. Ample space for my family of four which includes two car seats in the back. My main issue with this vehicle has always been the lights that continue to turn on the dash even though problems have been fixed (ABS, Traction Control, Stabilitrack). It has been to service several times due to these. The other issue is that the power door locks no longer work properly with the key fob. They unlock or lock as they please and I find myself having to do it manually which is not always convenient when you are out with two children. Overall a great vehicle and we have enjoyed m... Story
The family and I driving around on the weekends or on numerous road trips to visit new and exciting places. We also took it to a country safari where kids were able to see animals approach the car and get up close and personal.
Pros
Ample space for being a small SUV. Love the design and large trunk space. Plenty of leg room for back passengers. Drives great and doesn't waste too much gas. Tank holds about 18 gallons and I only fill about once a week for under $50 with today's gas prices. Comfortable for road trips.
Cons
Constant problem with ABS, Stabilitrack and Traction Control. Door locks don't always work with key fob and almost always have to be opened manually (which can only be done by using the key on the driver side and then unlocking all other doors from inside).

The build of this vehicle is solid. There are no rattles, shakes or shimmies. When doors are closed there is a solid feel. The backup camera is very clear for safety purposes. The warranty is very good and covers bumper to bumper. The alignment and balance are stable. The standard tinted windows are great for reducing heat in the summer. The rear window wiper is useful in muddy / rainy conditions and ensures added safety. The electronic drivers seat movement is variable with not only forward and backward, but tilt, lift and lumbar support. The sunroof is a fun addition for cooler days and nights. The roof rack at the top is useful for additional storage using cargo straps. The multiple airbags ensure increased safety. The adjustable front and rear headrests add comfort. The rear center... Story
Going to a beach in Mississippi with my boyfriend son in law and 6 dogs for a beach camping weekend trip. We had dog beds, kennels, ice chests, sleeping gear, blowup bed, and clothes. We were stuffed but comfortable!
Pros
Maneuverability Multiple ways to increase storage Air bag safety features Up to the minute vehicle stats Tinted windows Backup camera Solidly built Sunroof Rear window wiper Navigational direction
Cons
Gas tank has no locking system To open the rear hatch, the doors must all be unlocked. Not very safe.

I love Betsey because she is paid for and she is very reliable. Betsey gets great gas mileage on the road and around town. She has about 40,000 miles on her and still looks and smells brand new. She doesn't shake or rattle, but she does roll. One of the things I love about her is the rear view back up camera. That thing comes in handy, and yet I still backed into a pole one day! Betsey has a very roomy rear area that is perfect for my friends and I when we go on a scrapbooking weekend trip. She also has a Sirius radio that is fun to listen to. One of the main features I like about good ole' Betsey is that she is equipped with OnStar in case I am ever in need of assistance.
Story
Went on a scrapbooking weekend with friends and Betsey was loaded to the hilt. I don't think she could have another thing.
Pros
1.This car gets great gas mileage... especially in the ECO mode. 2. I think the vehicle is stylish and I am proud to drive it. 3. The car has a great amount of room in the back seat area... more than most cars that I am familiar with. There is plenty of room for 3 kids back there. 4.The Chevy Equinox has top rated safety levels.
Cons
!. The most negative thing about the vehicle is that it has a huge blind spot and it makes it very hard to see if there is a car right next to you. 2. It doesn't include the option of the drivers seat position automatically going back after another person drives.
