Best SUV I've ever owned!
Before buying my Equinox, I had leased a few other SUVs. Both smaller and larger with third-row seating. I have had luxury SUVs and from other American auto makers, and this has been my favorite by far. It is the first car I ever bought. It's a true joy to drive! I drive about 13 miles each way to work. The Equinox handles like a dream! I really love all the features that it came with also. It does not drive like four-cylinder SUV. Has plenty of pick up, and the back seat is quite spacious.

Excellent quality and value with the Chevrolet Equinox.
I really love my Chevrolet Equinox because it offers a lot of features at a reasonable price point. I wanted a spacious SUV that is not too big or too small, and the Equinox fits that exactly. It has a lot of interior space, and the cabin materials and styling is very upscale for a car that is not expensive. It looks like a much more expensive car from inside, and I only have the base model LS with no upgrades or other options. Another positive attribute of the Equinox is that if you are someone who travels with passengers in the backseats, you will love the Equinox because it is really spacious in the rear seats, and your friends/family will have a lot of legroom during long trips. For a vehicle of its size, the Equinox also gets very good gas mileage. I average about 26 miles city/highway driving combined. It does have an eco mode (which I use); or if you want more performance, then you can switch off eco mode. It has good visibility as a driver when looking back or in the front. But as with many cars of this size, it does have strong side pillars in the front, which I think helps it do well in crash tests, but it is something to be aware of that you need to look around them when driving in parking lots, etc.
