I purchased Chevy Equinox new seven years ago. As I hd only ever driven compact cars, I had to get used to the awful turning radius that the SUV had. However, it did provide me with more cargo storage than I was used to. Now I can pick up large items from warehouses and not have to worry about borrowing someone else’s truck or renting a vehicle. The back seats fold down enough so that anything in the cargo area can be pushed up into the back seat area. The back passenger seats have ample leg room and a wide bench, so there is more than enough room for five people to sit comfortably. One manufacturer flaw that is rather annoying is the fact that the exhaust pipe occasionally makes a back-fire sound. I have taken the SUV to the dealer several times after this started and they said that ... (more)

We just bought this last month and are very happy with it. Although there are a few minor blemishes, it looks and drives great. A special bonus is the sun roof. We can have air coming in without having to roll down the windows. My hair doesn't blow in my face and by the time I reach my destination, I look like I've been through a tornado. Anyway, I like the body style which is shorter than a van. In the back, there are net compartments for plastic bags, so they're not rolling around all over the place. The vehicle is equipped with OnStar and has internet access. Windows and locks are power equipped. And there is plenty of passenger leg room. The vehicle lets you know how much gas you are getting whether in the city or out of the city. It also has seat warmers. The radio lets you know w... (more)
Story
We've only had this for a month. Our son-in-law said we "stole their Equinox," meaning they were intending to buy one later down the line.
Pros
The sunroof. The seat warmers.
Cons
Unable to accurately set the clock. A few minor blemishes.
