Small SUV with all the bells and whistles.
I was looking for a small SUV, we had a compact car, and we are a family of four, so we needed more space, without astronomically increasing our gas budget. The Captiva is cute and very aerodynamically shaped, the rear seats fold, and the back door is a hatch which provides ample space for transporting small to medium sized items with ease. The Captiva averages about 25mpg, which is a solid number in a car of this class. The trim package is what excited me the most, it came with Chevrolet OnStar services, as well as Sirius XM radio. The seats were all leather, for easy cleaning with children. The SUV has a power moon roof, which was a huge selling point for me. Throughout the life of the vehicle we have had a few mechanical issues, that were resolved quickly once the problem was identified. Overall I would suggest this vehicle to anyone looking for a small/mid size SUV for a small family.

It is just amazing car one can have.
This car's built quality is extremely fantastic, one can easily drive this car due to its power steering.it is capable of doing speeds higher than 90mph very easily, I drive this car daily and I have been using it since a long time I have Chevrolet Captiva LTZ VCDi. It is a luxury SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle). It has an attractive look and comfortable seats. I am happy with the performance. It has seven sitting capacity. Really It is a good vehicle to drive in the city & highways. My family is happy with my choice.

Not dependable
Dislike gas mileage, burns oil quickly, little power when gas it. It has always made a noise when air conditioner running and when idling it seems like it always gasps for air like it might cut off and it has. This car was a good deal at the time I purchased it, but I will do a lot more research next time and not just buy one because of mileage or the way it looks. It has lasted awhile but just barely. Feels like it could break down at any time. Have to treat it extremely careful and be ginger with it. It is a four cylinder and has no real power to it. It is more for a mother of young children and mine are almost grown now. I do not think I will purchase another Chevrolet car again. I would possibly be interested in buying a truck or a more rugged vehicle that I can haul stuff in, in the future. It has close to 140,000 miles on it now and when I bought it, it had 35,000. I was told that model was never released to the public for sale. It was strictly a fleet car for car rental companies. I did and do not like the small leg room. I do not like the fact that it is hard to get to engine parts without taking it to a mechanic, and the oil is even almost impossible to change on your own. It is not a user-friendly car for a personal owner who has to maintain it and keep it going daily. I hope this answered all your questions.
