My Chevy Express fits my large family exceptionally well, even with room to spare. We travel a couple times a year to see family that are 700+ miles away and we were blown away after taking our first trip with it. It held up on the highway with no issues. I was blown away that after a 12 hour trip there was no problem with overheating which we had with our previous van.
Story
One of our best trips in our van was when we went to the beach this past summer. There was enough room for everybody plus toys, floaties, towels, etc. When we got back home a quick vacuum cleaned it right up, no problems!
Pros
The best thing about this van is the amount of room it has. It is a 7-passenger and fits us perfectly, even with all 5 of our children being in car seats. Another thing I love about this van is that we were able to upgrade the VHS system so that we can play VHS and DVD. I also love the fact that there is plenty of storage, cup holders, and ashtrays! The magazine rack in the second row is great to hold our DVDs! Lastly, I love that the back seat folds down into a small bed. It's perfect for the long trips when we stop to rest!
Cons
I don't have very much to list for cons as this vehicle is by far the best we've owned to fit our family. One thing I will say that was negative is that we had to replace the side skirts because they cracked very easily. Our children are all under 6 years old and when they get in and out we needed something more sturdy to hold their weight.

I think the Chevy Express van is one of the greatest vans that were made especially the from1999 and up. They made them super strong and tough with a sporty look it's almost perfect. These vans are also very comfortable for long trips and they also come with a separate heater/air conditioner unit for the back. Other then that they get half way decent gas mileage and they can go quite quickly for being so heavy.
Story
Well as far as mine I customized it and put flames on it and one time I was working late and had to stop for gas and someone pulled up and asked if I minded if they took a picture of it.
Pros
The van is huge!!!! You have loads of passenger space, grocery space and room to spare. With very few mods you can lower your mpg, and it's very stylish. I like how strongly built these vans are... When you're in it you don't feel like its going to just fall apart.
Cons
The negative things were that they put a small block 350 in this thing or smaller like a v6. This van weighs close to 8500 pounds those engines weren't made to move around all that weight. They should of put a big block or diesel instead. Also there were a few problems with the drum brakes I don't know why they didn't switch over sooner. I don't like how they added plastic grilles to it, and how they stuck the license plate in the door I think it ruins the look. Also these vans have a tendency to tip if you go around a corner too quickly.

My 2000 Chevy Express is a van that I would recommend to anyone. It has a lot of space inside which is good because I usually have at least 5 people in it whereever I go. I sometimes have as many as eight passengers. It is very well built and seems to hold up to what ever I put it through. It looks great and I will buy another one if this one ever wears out.
Story
Because of its design and look- ebony color and a glitter look on the door handles- when we went to Disney World in it, some people stopped us and thought it was a Disney transport vehicle.
Pros
It has a lot of room inside. I carry a lot of stuff with me and there is always room for what I need. It also is very sharp looking. It has 18 inch chrome rims. It is a conversion van so it also has a lot of head room. Equipped with a tv and a dvd payer for passengers to enjoy. It has a rear air conditioner as well. Not too bad on gas mileage - 16 to 18 miles to the gallon. It also came with a rear radio that I use a lot.
Cons
It came with a V6 motor, so it isn't as powerful as I would like for it to be sometimes. I usually haul a trailer with it so when it gets in a bind, like an incline or something like that, it has less power. I've also had trouble keeping the front end lined up on it. The running boards have also become loose.
