Chevrolet HHR OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS
Mount Pleasant, Michigan
Trusty, but not worth it.
I have a 2006 Chevrolet HHR. I bought it used with 120,000 miles on it. The body of the car is still in good condition with very little to no rust, even through 12 years of Michigan winters. I like that it has a spacious inside and seating can be folded down. It also has a large trunk. It also does well on gas, with a full tank costing around $35 and getting me 350+ miles. Some things I dislike is the windows will freeze shut when it is not that cold outside, and the gas gauge is not very accurate. With the previous owner(and original) of the car being family, I know that it has always had these issues.

This car is very efficient on gas and mileage. It is very roomy and seats five. It had plenty of backspace room for groceries and luggage. It is very sleek and easy to drive.
I like the performance of this car. It is great on gas and mileage. It has plenty of space. It can carry five people. It looks really cute.

Great interior, Bad as a whole
The HHR is not what I expected really. First it kind of reminds me of a PT Cruiser with the body style. Which isn't too bad. The inside has a lot of space and room for passengers or any type of luggage. 3 seats in the back and 2 in front. The seats in the back also go down to improve overall storage space. This is really good for me when I have to carry around my DJ equipment. The dashboard is nice and the buttons layout (radio, power windows). But as a reliable vehicle it isn't that great. I've had to have multiple repairs mainly on the tires. I've went through about 6 spare tires. It also handles very badly in snowy/ice weather. It is good on gas I admit. However this vehicle has had a recall because of frontend problems.
