This car has given me many years of good service, it has good gas mileage, even after 100,000 miles I am getting about 30MPG. It has had to have some work done, but no major breakdowns. The car is easy to drive, and has surprising pick up for size of the engine.
Story
Car has given me years of good service.
Pros
Good gas mileage, very few mechanical problems, easy to drive.
Cons
A/C has had issues with shorting out since I have had it.

I got this car on the spur of the moment when my previous car just totally died on me and wasn't able to be fixed. I had to get a vehicle quickly, so I didn't take a lot of time to look around. I saw this car on the lot, and it was in the price range that I needed. I gave it a test drive and it seemed "fine". At least "fine for right now". That was several years ago. It's just a simple car. White four door sedan. Nothing fancy. But this car has been SO reliable for me. I've not have even a moment's trouble out of it. Other than the usual routine maintenance, it's not even been in the shop. I get great gas mileage. It runs smoothly. I never have to worry when I get ready to go on a long road trip. I always know that my car will make it with no problems, and will give me a comfortable ri... (more)
Story
When I went through the drive thru at Chick Fil A, the girl at the window said she had this exact car and she asked me if I loved it as much as she did. Apparently it's just been a good car for everyone!
Pros
Totally dependable. Comfortable ride. Very smooth. Great air conditioning. Comfy seats. Lots of trunk room. Plenty of cup holders. (Hey, I'm a girl. That's important.)
Cons
Right now, my car sounds like the Tardifs. It's the fan for the a/c. I need to get a new one put in, because this one is a little growly. I don't even notice it when the radio is on though. I'm also burning a bit of oil recently. Nothing I can't manage, but I'll need to get it taken care of soon.

This car treated me well for 50,000+ miles and ran well when it did. But once it started breaking down everything went. Parts for this car are also through the roof! But overall the style and paint job on body on this car a decent. The ride was comfortable, and the air in this thing was amazing on a hot summer day. Traction in the snow on the other hand was very iffy. It could have just been my tires but they were the factory recommended tires for the year and model. The classic is said to be almost identical to the Malibu that came one year before it and those cars have lots of reported problems and I see a lot of them breaking down. I'm not sure about them fixing the newer models or the newer Malibu's but they definitely need reworked. Some of the trim on the inside plastics and such... (more)
Story
Yeah I met my first 3 girlfriends in this car and on all 3 first dates the car broke down... and this was over a span of time. Not all at the same time so. Coincidence? I'm not so sure.
Pros
Awesome air. Very roomy comfortable interior. Smooth ride. Plenty of trunk space.
Cons
Iffy traction control in rain/snow. Expensive replacement parts. No a long lasting line of cars.
