I got this car on the spur of the moment when my previous car just totally died on me and wasn't able to be fixed. I had to get a vehicle quickly, so I didn't take a lot of time to look around. I saw this car on the lot, and it was in the price range that I needed. I gave it a test drive and it seemed "fine". At least "fine for right now". That was several years ago. It's just a simple car. White four door sedan. Nothing fancy. But this car has been SO reliable for me. I've not have even a moment's trouble out of it. Other than the usual routine maintenance, it's not even been in the shop. I get great gas mileage. It runs smoothly. I never have to worry when I get ready to go on a long road trip. I always know that my car will make it with no problems, and will give me a comfortable ri... (more)
Story
When I went through the drive thru at Chick Fil A, the girl at the window said she had this exact car and she asked me if I loved it as much as she did. Apparently it's just been a good car for everyone!
Pros
Totally dependable. Comfortable ride. Very smooth. Great air conditioning. Comfy seats. Lots of trunk room. Plenty of cup holders. (Hey, I'm a girl. That's important.)
Cons
Right now, my car sounds like the Tardifs. It's the fan for the a/c. I need to get a new one put in, because this one is a little growly. I don't even notice it when the radio is on though. I'm also burning a bit of oil recently. Nothing I can't manage, but I'll need to get it taken care of soon.

I bought my 2004 Chevy Classic over six years ago now and I have had no major problems with it. The only thing I would say is that the internal mechanics are somewhat cheap. My driver side back window motor went out and it was way too expensive to repair so I rigged it to just stay closed. Also, there is a short in the hazards somewhere and I have to continually click them to get turn signals working. This has only started happening in the last couple years.
Story
I was moving to Colorado last year and when I arrived I stayed at an Air BnB place in Aurora. Well most of my belongings were in the vehicle overnight and when I went out to my car the next day it looked like a bomb went off in the back seat. Which is pretty much what happened. I had mistakenly packed 2 cans of compressed air for cleaning computers and apparently the combined 90 degree weathe... (more)
Pros
The engine has always ran great. I have never had any major mechanical failures and I am not the greatest on oil changes and maintenance.
Cons
The top negative things for me are that the car doesn't look the hottest. It is a typical sedan, which is to say it's not necessarily bad but for a guy in his early 30's it wasn't the best.
