Chevy Van Gets the Job Done
The van was a fleet vehicle at a local university before I bought it, and it has some features due to being an institutional vehicle that are inconvenient. For example, the rear heat and air conditioning controls were disabled, and the back and side door locks were set to be controlled by the driver only. The van had less than 60,000 miles on the odometer when I purchased it, but it had a lot of interior rattles and some of the upholstery was damaged. The tires that it came with were adequate but not new, so they had to be replaced early on. There is a CD player which worked fine at first but now sometimes jams or won't play some CDs. The outside lock on the driver's side front door came loose and fell into the door, so I have to enter vehicle through one of the other doors to unlock the driver's side door. The van is roomy and generally runs well. The doors all work well, not taking into account the lock on the front driver's side door, and I appreciate that as I've had problems with the side doors, especially, on similar vans in the past.

Chevy StarCraft conversion van converted for disability needs
I purchased this van used so that I could have it converted into a handicap accessible van. I had need for automated side doors and automated wheelchair lift, a lockdown device for the wheelchair inside, a special driver's seat chair so that I could transfer from my wheelchair to the driver seat in order to drive, and pedal extenders so that I could reach the brakes and the gas. Once said and done along with some regular maintenance and new tires I had about $15,000 invested in the van used, whereas it would've cost me close to $70,000 had I gotten the van equipped with the equipment I have in it new.

If it was a woman I would marry it.
This vehicle is as loyal as your pet dog. It protects you with size and ease of handling, It is roomy with lots of head room and storage room overhead and it the back, It can seat eight or more and it has a rear seat that makes into a bed. It has an entertainment center, captain chairs, four, and great interior decor with cloth and wood. It has wonderful interior overhead lighting and great to see out of side windows that does not allow speakers to look in, The rear seat can be removed to haul stuff like a pickup and you do not have to worry about rain. Its a converter to serve its masters wishes, It has a 350 powerful motor that is not a oil burner and it gets good gas miles from 15 to 20. It handles like a car on the road and is good on tire wear. I cannot find anything wrong with it except you cannot park in a parking deck. One on the best vehicles every made as far I am concerned.
