I love the space. It is the perfect amount. I can stick my groceries in the back and still have enough leg room in the front. What is most interesting to me about the car is it's quietness. I had a diesel VW before and it was quite loud and clunky. The space is something I needed in an SUV but couldn't afford the most popular ones.
Title
Taking my kid to play dates and also the ease of having storage for gear, etc.
Pros
The space like I mentioned before is the most pro item. But coming in close second is the handling. The steering is very sensitive and it can turn around on a dime. Braking is also excellent. It's also high enough off the ground for me to be comfortable taking this AWD bad boy in the snow and sleet.
Cons
Acceleration is not that great. I feel like when I need to go hard and fast, I'm somewhat behind what in previous vehicles I've had. I'm not saying it's slow, but in the type of traffic I'm in, sometimes I need to go accelerate even at higher speeds and it seems somewhat lagging. I could have spent the extra money to upgrade 50 ( I think it was 50 extra?) more horsepower but I guess I did not feel I needed it at the time.

The SUV is compact enough to make it through large cities but big enough for a family to take an adventure for the weekend. I enjoy the price I paid for it and the above average gas mileage I received with it. Mine came with WiFi built in which was great for my kids who love to watch YouTube on long trips. Mine also has all wheel drive which is great because I live in upstate New York where it tends to snow a lot, have not had any trouble getting around our snow covered town yet. The rear vision camera is an added bonus for tight city parking spaces, which only makes this compact car more maneuverable in small tight spots. The large easy to navigate touch screen radio is an added feature that makes it much easier to switch between radio stations when I am traveling on the interstat... (more)

Taking this car from the snow of Upstate New York on a road trip with the wife and kids to Orlando, Florida and Disney World.
Pros
The wifi is a pro, the large touch screen radio and the all wheel drive.
Cons
I would say the brake alignment system wears out rather fast

I had a 2014 Cruse, and I loved it. We drove 23000 mile in 2 years. Just bought my Trax two days ago and the Trax is so much more comfortable getting in and out. I have had back problems getting in and out of the lower sitting cars. It has the same motor as the Cruse but the Trax seems a little more peppier. I did some research on the Trax and it seems 50/50, either you love it or you hate it. We love ours can't wait for our next road trip. Take it for a long test drive, do your research and decide what you want before you go to the dealership and feel pressured. I did make one compromise and that was the color and I can live with that.
Title
Friend didn't believe it was a Chevy. Till they saw the logo obviously.
Pros
Easy to maneuver in the city; respectable passenger space for its size; plenty of storage slots; lots of standard equipment for the money.
Cons
None really
