The style of the car is stylish and has a lot of room inside. I love the way it drives, it seems like a luxury vehicle. I love the way the seats in the back go all the way down to make it easy to carry large items. It is pretty good on gas. I work close and go a little further on the weekends and I only have to put about $25 a week. The car does need to go in the shop for the air conditioner, but I haven't yet taken it to see if it is a good price or not. The car picks up well the acceleration is awesome and it is fun to drive. The car feels real safe to drive the only thing that I do not like is that there is a knocking when I turn or hit bumps and was told that it is because it may have been in a wreck and something in the steering wheel collapsed to protect you. I haven't taken it i... (more)
Story
I used this car to help tow furniture and the fun part was trying to fit stuff in there and boy did we get a lot of stuff in there even if we end up scratching the inside a little bit.
Pros
The space, the smooth driving, and to maneuver is awesome...I am able to parallel park real easy.
Cons
air condition went out.

The 2009 Chevy Colorado was a great purchase for me. It didn't have all the bells and whistles of the other vehicles that were over $20,000 more, but what it did have was a low profile and a large truck bed that allowed me to haul everything I needed. With the additional purchase of a bed cover this increased my value of the truck immensely as it was now a water resistant luggage carrier. Large enough to fit my entire family with two car seats, a dog, my wife in the front, her purses, and all of our beverages. The Chevy Colorado for me had the pick up and go that I really needed going up large mountains going from one side of Hawaii to another. It never slowed down and it continued to impress me at all times.
Story
Moving my entire house was great with this vehicle. 7 trips later, but it still made it possible.
Pros
The large truck bed, engine power, roomy interior.
Cons
No bells and whistles, no aux port on stereo. Basic interior looked slightly cheap.

My Chevy Colorado is a nice looking truck good for both work and pleasure. With great gas mileage, compared to a full size truck , you can go further without spending a great deal of money. A smaller size truck like a Chevy Colorado is easy to maneuver and easier to park in tighter spots. With a five cylinder engine this truck still has plenty of horsepower. Getting up to speed is no problem for this truck. Overall for a compact pickup truck the Chevy Colorado has a lot of value and versatility for the money.
Pros
This truck compared to my previous truck, a GMC Sonoma, gets great gas mileage. With a five cylinder this truck has more get up and go then my previous truck.
Cons
The trim package is barebones even for a entry level package. I don't like the gas gauge because the halfway mark is not at three o'clock like it should be. The door panels have more softer like material on them vs. vinyl. This makes cleaning it more difficult if you use the truck for work and have dirty hands or arms.
