The truck is fantastic. It is almost over ten years old and the a/c works perfectly. The gas mileage is really good. I was in an accident once and it barely made a scratch or dent in the truck. I really love the fact that I can move large items like benches, tables, armoires, etc... In the back. The paint has lasted all these years next to the ocean and the truck still runs like new although it only has 100,000k miles on it, it should still work great, it cost almost 23k.
Story
Going to the beach in Daytona and driving on the beach with Monty, that's the trucks name
Pros
The ice cold ac, the reliability, the fact that it's an American made vehicle.
Cons
My radio broke, the antennae broke off/

This truck has been nothing but a pain. It's less than 10 years old, less than 100,000 miles and starting to fall apart.

I had originally planned to purchased the full-size Chevrolet Silverado, but elected to go with smaller 4X4 Colorado. It has a smaller footprint, but its performance certainly doesn't feel small, and the crew-cab is pretty roomy. The Z71 is the top of the line version, and includes off road suspension, automatic locking rear differential, 17-inch painted wheels with all-terrain tires, automation climate control, and power-adjustable and heated seats. The truck has low-end torque with good acceleration. The 4X4 system operates seamlessly with good ground clearance. It has all the features of a truck, but rides and handles like a car. It has all of the latest safety features and exceptional fuel economy. The ergonomic and styling have greatly improved over its legacy S10 predecessor. So ... (more)
Story
I took the truck off-road with the family shortly after purchasing it. We packed a picnic and blanket, and headed into state game lands. Got it a little muddy, but it was a fun excursion.
Pros
My favorite feature with my Colorado is its 3.6L V6 engine, with 308HP and 275TQ. ItÕs pared with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which provides good power and fuel economy. I enjoy the optional Bose Premium Sound System too, which has seven speakers. It provides a great sound stage in the cab.
Cons
If I had to list a negative, it would probably be the bed size. By electing to with the crew-cab, which provided more interior room, you sacrifice exterior space with the smaller bed. While this hasnÕt been an issue, I wish that it had a slightly larger bed.
