This is not a good vehicle to drive if you want a reliable truck that can withstand tough weather such as snow or want to pull a trailer or anything for that matter. This truck will most likely have multiple engine issues as well, because the entire series was not just a lemon but a basket full of lemons. If you decide to buy something like this, I feel sorry for you, and I hope you have a lot of cash handy and a great auto mechanic readily available to call any time of year at any time. You will most likely need a vomit bag and a box of tissues to dry away your tears from puking and crying so much because you wasted away so much of your hard earned money on such a garbage, pathetic excuse for a vehicle. Highly, I repeat highly, do not recommend this truck, and I wouldn't even give it ... (more)
Pros
It starts most of the time when the battery is charged, and it does travel up to 75 mph without the wheels falling off, so that's a plus.
Cons
The cons have been covered pretty heavily in the review section up above, but it's got engine issues, exhaust issues, its had bad rear cylinder issues, problems with the serpentine belt, emergency break, electronic window mechanism, a bad oxygen sensor the day I bought it, broken thermostat, and warm air conditioning. It has no rear-wheel drive option, which is great in the winter, and the brakes tend to go more often than they should. The door to the bed's handle mechanism fell apart for almost no reason whatsoever, and it needed two serpentine belts in four years. It cannot pass inspecti... (more)

2005 Chevrolet Colorado - It's a good, solid, reliable truck.

It's a good, solid, reliable truck. It's a little temperamental, but it keeps on going. The bed holds up to use, and can haul a lot of rock and material. I live in a rainy environment and the truck is not rusty. The chassis parts have lasted a really long time and I've never had to replace them. I've put 170,000 miles on it and it's running strong. I like the cup holders, but I wish the bench seat were adjustable. One of my complaints is that the seat is not reclinable and has worn out quite a bit, putting a strain on my back over long drives. There are also goofy electrical issues with the truck, which seem to resolve themselves after wiggling wires or pulling over and waiting 15 minutes. On the extended cab, I was able to put in a back seat and there is a moderate amount of room for ... (more)
Story
I had 20 pallets stacked in the back and the bumper was 4 inches from the ground and I got all the way home.
Pros
Doesn't leak oil, gas mileage, mechanically sound after a lot of use, it can pull a heavy trailer, the inside has enough space, and the truck bed is solid and has enough space.
Cons
It's expensive, electrical issues, the fan stops and starts when it wants to, the ride height is a little low, the seats are not adjustable.
