Roomy, family car, yet elegant
I did not originally go in to the dealership to buy the Traverse; I was in love with the Acadia and had no desire to look at anything else. However, I quickly saw that I could get all of the features of the Acadia and more for a better price. I felt like I was driving a luxury vehicle with all of the upgrades! I love the roominess -- plenty of space for my three kids and their friends, the smoothness of the ride, the quiet motor, and the elegant lines of the body. It was also very reliable, even after I had logged quite a few miles!

Adequate vehicle for my needs.
My vehicle currently has just under 130,000 miles on it and is in good working order. Just over 100,000 miles the steering wheel column seals had to be completely replaced which even the dealership said happened much earlier (mileage wise) than it should have. While it has a lot of space, it is difficult to view out the back so parallel parking, backing into parking spaces, and other actions are difficult. A rear-view camera helps but not completely. So far it has had 4 recalls from the manufacturer although none of them were that serious. I suppose this can happen because it is the first year of this model and so small bugs or other issues can happen but are usually fixed later in the follow-ups.
