Daewoo in Disguise
My review is of a yellow, 5-door hatchback Chevy Aveo. Purchased in early 2011; stopped functioning properly in the summer of 2015. The body seemed very sensitive and acquired a few dings and scratches easily. The paint was brighter on the sides than on top of the car. I believe it was due to sun damage. The interior seemed to be custom installed. It was a black cloth material. There was no seat belt in the middle back seat. I got regular scheduled maintenance performed on the vehicle. Eventually the steering wheel started shaking. When accelerating or braking, the car would jerk forward and slow; jerk forward and slow. I believe this is a problem with these models. Eventually it went away. The dashboard lights, one fog light, and the A/C went out after two years. The catalyst converter now has to be replaced and after all the money I've put into maintaining and fixing this car, I feel I'm going to purchase something else.

Nice Little Car.
I bought the car used and it has been very reliable. I have had a few minor issues with the vehicle. There is a small oil leak coming from somewhere I can't quite figure out. An exhaust gasket blew. Also an issue with the suspension causing my tires to bald faster than normal. All in all, these issues were to be expected as the car aged. The trim is sleek and is relatively comfortable besides backseat leg room. Trunk space is adequate. Gas mileage is really what I love about this car. It gets over thirty miles to a gallon.

A Decent bargain, but overall a headache
At the time of purchase and for what I could afford, this car was great. It's fuel efficient, easy to drive/park, and didn't break the bank. I was extremely happy with my purchase for the first 50,000 miles, but since then this vehicle has been nothing but headaches. The check engine light is consistently coming on, and the car is in the shop getting something repaired at least 2 times a year. The most expensive was a few months ago, where my accelerator sensor pedal was faulty and it cost me almost $1,500 to fix that and other related problems. My air conditioning no longer pushes cold air and I was quoted over $1,000 to fix that as well. Be careful when purchasing this vehicle.
